Skyrim Possible Dwemer DLC?

Post » Sun Mar 24, 2013 11:32 am

Hey guys, just made this account cuz i want to know your opinions on something. so i am a dwemer/dwarven freak and i just love everything about them. ESPECIALLY the fact that theyre so advanced in armor/weapons and technology. so i was thinking, would a dwemer DLC be fricken awesome or what?!?!?!? you go through a huge questline maybe bigger than the main quest to find out why the dwemer dissapeared and how to bring them back, and when you bring them back they would have invented new things like automatons/weapons/armor special to them dwemer, possibly best armor in the game yet? and all the dwarven ruins would be back to their full potential and brand new with dwemer all over inside them and markets and leaders/jarls, purchasable houses, and have all the dwemer ruins be like the cities of skyrim. So what are your thoughts on this? :D

This pops up every other day around here. the answer is overwhelmingly the same...No.

They are gone, they should remain that way.

It won't happen unless they decide to go a few thousand years back for the next game (very unlikely). The disappearance of the Dwemer is a major cornerstone of lore. No way will they reverse that (they'd anger more fans than they'd make happy).

One diseased Dwemer was still around a few hundred years before Skyrim (for a reason). He might still be alive. It's possible that there are a few others around, but even that's very unlikely.

It was very unlikely to find full blown snow elves... Look at Dawnguard.

I say it is a possible to find one or two Dwemers but nothing like hundreds of them!

He is immortal due to infection with Corprus, and it is likely Divayth Fyr rescued him. There are also a number of Dwemer ghosts in Morrowind, and even one non-hostile one, so this is probably the most likely route to shedding some more light on the Dwemer.

No, we have seen enough Dwemer stuff between Skyrim and Morrowind, I hope we never see them again. Same with the Falmer.

This quite frankly. But alas, Hammerfell has dwemer ruins there I believe and I also would like a game set there (Daggerfall, TES Redguard doesn't count).
