15 isn't Mature, I guess this game won't be as brutal as people claim. http://www.strategyinformer.com/news/14291/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-rated-15-by-bbfc-strong-violence

Germany, Australia and the US will probably give a "Mature" rating. As far as I know the UK are more liberal towards violence in games/movies.

Well there is no severed limbs or heads, or graphic six/nudity, so if that's what it takes to be 'brutal' than I guess you're out of luck.

Huh, well I was getting pumped for it being an 18 .... that's weird (as all the gaming stores are advertising it as an 18). I don't really mind either way.

So No Beheading or Limbs flying about with Blood Spewing Everywhere or Cursing or Serious six and Same Date Love with Dragons Roasting your Flesh away, well Skyrim is Definitely Childsplay then. :celebration:

Oblivion (at least GOTY edition) had a BBFC rating.

It's good that they weren't forced to make cuts.

This. If this is Bethesda's indented experience, then I'm sure it will be good. (And it will be 'M' here, no doubt.)

Yes, BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) is mostly for movies.

PEGI is for video games.

Considering that Germany just barely unbanned the original Doom, will Skyrim even be allowed there?

So we shouldn't wait on PEGI? The 18 rating was a little premature.

Most of my games don't have PEGI ratings, Oblivion GOTY(PS3) was just rated by the BBFC.
