Hey Guys,
Im playing skyrim on the ps3 and have encountered an issue whereas my one hand skill has dropped from level 100 to 20 and highlighted in red. Ive looked under the active effects and there is nothing that shows any kind of disease but regardless i tried temple blessings which still didnt work and have read posts saying if i level up the skill it will disappear. Problem is that my one hand skill is already at 100 so that cant be leveled anymore..and going from overall level 50 to 51 did nothing either. Does anyone know how this can be fixed? or are the bazillion hours ive put into this game over.

As I understand it there is a bug that affects the display number of the skill only. In other words, your skill is still 100 regardless of what the screen says.
