Ruins and their contraptions. Nothing else, I think.

Most likely they're just there. Kind of like how the Ayleids didn't have that big of an effect on Oblivion (other than providing the Great Welkynd Stone). After all, it is on the borders of both Morrowind and Hammerfell, which were the two main sites of Dwemer civilization.

Yep. They had those in Morrowind too, and just like Morrowind having the automatons doesn't mean they'll have actual Dwemer.

Not that I'd put it past Bethesda to somehow use this whole massive dragon crisis thing to slip them in somehow...we'll just have to wait and see.

I can assume with confidence we'll see a return of Dwarven Armor too seeing how they have the ruins, not like you'd find Elven in there.

They wont, they'd have to explain first why they were even back before they would do that.

No, there will be no actual Dwemer, but this is still really awesome. We get to revisit Dwemer ruins and see their contraptions, and outside of Vvardenfell as well. This should be a really interesting opportunity to learn more about them.

Dwarves in Skyrim would make sense, cause, the stereotype of dwarves in cold places, Vikings etc... But I personally think they should keep them out, simply because it would upset the balance of the race system, and end up looking like Star Wars.

Very hard actually, since they used their souls to become the incorruptable metal of wich Numindium is constructed.
To achieve return to before AE.

Considering all we know, there is really no way they can come back. That isn't even considering that its just a bad plot idea, cheap considering all we learned about why they disappeared. The Dwemer are meant to be a mystery.

Just a quick warning, because you're a relatively new member and may not have played Morrowind. If you look at Dwarves with the typical high-fantasy stereotype, you're looking at it wrong. Dwarves in Elder Scrolls are a reference to the Dwemer, a different race of Elves that vanished long ago, renowned for their scientific skills and such. They have very little in common with short squat little men with beards (though they do have beards).

Well, they're also really good craftsmen, which is another thing that relatess them to typical dwarves. Except, they craft machines, god-haxing devices, and a Big Stompy Time-Breaking Robot.

I'd say this is about as likely as Multiplayer. Which is to say, "No. Way. In. Hell."

What does TES lore have 10 of??

Races for one.

Release date 11 11 11. Hmmmmmmm????

Add one more race and you have 11

What 2 other things does TES have 10 of?? Not very lore knowledgeable myself, but add 2 more devines and you have 11 there too.

See where I'm going with this one??

11 11 11 must have some significance don't you think???

Umm? They have been gone since the First Era... It'd be kinda weird for them to just come back.

Morrowind had dwemer ghosts and a dwemer, and I really want to know what happened to them they just disapeared, maybe the last dwemer migrated to Skyrim

I've cleaned the annals and canols of Morrowind, and the only reason I'm new to the forums, is because I've been too busy playing TES games, lol. You have to admit though they do resemble the sort of stereotypical Dwarf. And it's Fantasy, you can't look at it wrong.

Nope, just a really cool date.

And there are kinda are 10 divines, just Lorkhan isn't really regarded as one by mortals, and he is hated by the other divines.
