Magazines in England will give it a 10/10 like OXM did with Oblivion. Bethesda's RPG's always score high.

I guess people are running out of ideas for Poll threads.

I think Skyrim is going to succeed in both quality AND quantity, much like Morrowind did at its time of release. Nostalgia will make it difficult to weigh its advantages over older TES games, but I'm certain it'll be criticized far less than Oblivion has been on the forums. As for everyone else, the reviewers will inevitably give it 8's and 9's due to the engine ("Y U NO TESSELATION" as the mainstream would say), but I believe this will be the greatest TES game yet or at least on par with Morrowind.

I would be shocked if it gets below a 95 on metacritic.

I remain disappointed, but im sure magazines wil give Skyrim high praise, with players trailing slightly behind.
Of course there is a lot of Skyrim I really like, so it could easily be redeemed and im just a pessimist.

Oblivion tested my faith, its time for Skyrim to redeem my faith, because im done with hoping.

But there is always hope

It's way too early to be talking about reviews or review predictions heck we don't even know all of the skills yet. Right now if I did give a review I'd go with a 9 but then again it's still to early I mean Beth could make an announcement that could go either way with some of the players and completely change their minds.

I did, but only because there wasn't an adequate option for me. TBH I haven't been paying too much attention to the details of Skyrim so far, so I couldn't fairly answer that question  .

I'm disappointed so far.. I don't know whether Skyrim will be great or not.

But no matter what I'm positive gaming magazines will give it at least a 9. I remember IGN's review of Oblivion.. they spent half the review talking about the graphics and half of one sentence talking about the level scaling and level up mechanics.

Voted 1-5 for player votes.
The more people pretend to like something the more they hate a new episode..
Same with bands, TV shows, everything.

9-10 from official reviewers and 10 from player, apart from the few 1's and 2's that it gets from people who dislike the game.

Review sites will fawn over it like any AAA title, ignoring bugs, glitches, and all sorts of crap.

I was thinking about this the other day. I expect Skyrim to achieve critical success, 9-10 from 'official' reviews and probably GOTY from some as well.
It will disappoint a number of fans, particularly those that want 'a return to Morrowind' but there will be plenty who think it's the best thing since sliced bread (8-9 overall).

A lot of the information released so far sounds very promising but since I'm a cynical gamer and marketing hype tends to over sell things, I'm keeping my expectations as low as possible. I expect the game will be ok, perhaps a bit too casual and will need to be heavily modded.

Weird choices in the poll. Magazines will prolly love it and claim it to be the best thing ever. Personally I'll prolly like it a lot but have mixed feelings over the UI and certain major aspects of the game. I think what I've seen so far it seems everything is getting too streamlined, easy and accesable. I prefer RPG's that don't give everything too you easily, like having a skill for each weapon ect.

9-10 on reviews.
As for the fans...well, there are always mixed opinions. I would say still 9-10 ish though (for the RPG fans anyways).
I think it's looking pretty swell so far. However, I will hold my final opinion until I actually play the game. A fancy UI won't ruin the game for me.

I expect it to get between 9 and 10. But you can't really judge by "profesional" game reviewers as they generally bump up the number a bit, and don't have the time to play a TES experience to give it a decent review. OB did NOT deserve a 9 or 10 out of 10. To many broken quest lines and glitches out of the box on day 1.... and the graphics were terrible on consoles.....

I think it will get an 8-9 from reviewers because it will be a good game and the main problem will be bugs or that they don't understand it.

It will get a 5-7 from 75% of these forums (the other 25% of these forums and everybody else in the world will give it a 9-10), because everybody will freak out because of a silly thing that is or is not implemented ("Oh, No! *Blank* and *blank* aren't in the game! Ahhh!" or better yet "Why would they put *blank* and *blank*, it isn't any good,")

I think it will be the greatest game of the series, possibly the greatest of the generation.

9-10

The massive amount of hype and ridiculous game reviewers who are afraid of using the entire review scale assures this.

As for what I think about the game: it's better than Dragon Age 2, and Todd could kick Gaider's ass. :D I dislike some of the stuff I've heard, and don't expect the second coming of Morrowind, but I think I'll enjoy it. I voted "i give a sh^^ about skyrim" because I do "give a sh^^" about it and how it turns out, which is why I'm posting here.

between 9-10 for review sites such as Gamespot and IGN. Both of them give out these types due to getting the review copy early and being paid to write up a review.

Actual customers/fans, it depends. We're all different, but I think the majority consensus will like/enjoy the game.

I can see Skyrim not only being GOTY, but most will prefer it over Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3. :celebration:

I want this game to exceed well in terms of a customer's fun and enjoyment, and yes even sales and profit to prolong the company to make Elder Scrolls games and whatever else the studio wants to do (Fallout 4? etc)

I can almost guarantee that the metacritic score will be mid 90s.

this game should sell 10 times more than blackops did.
