How do you guys use your scrolls? Do you hoard them up or use them as you obtain them? Maybe you keep them for the more intense battles?

Please note I've been hoarding mine and never used one, when used does it vanish? If someone would explain that would be great.

You equip a scroll like a regular spell. Once used, it will vanish. Personally, none of my characters have ever used a scroll, other than seeing what it would do. However, given the fact that some mods like SkyRe and PerMa will implement Scribe Perks, one can create their own scrolls. I plan a playthrough for such a character.

I will sometimes have a character that will use scroll's, low lvl mage characters, I just RP that they are learning magic and haven't gotten the spells down pat yet, so have to write them down or have them written down for them. So when they find spell's written down, they use them and then try to remember them for later ( when they get bought if that is possible).

For the most part most of my characters just sell any scroll's they find.

Unarmoured mage vs bandit chief with big hammer, a summon storm atronach scroll has saved the skin more than once. That, Guardian Circle and Firestorm are the only ones I don't sell, you never know when you might need 'em.

My cleric has kept most of her scrolls, with the exception of ones that i find useless. I have used them several times, helping fight a thalmor patrol at early level, and fighting the boss of the dawnbreaker quest for example.
