I don't know i gave up having a life for skyrim(which also means its amazing).

I DON'T here is why.

Both skyrim and dead island look like extreemly great games. while skyrim has all this great stuff dead island has great things to (like zee gore) so in my eyes they are about even so far.

Game of the year over all will be close between Skyrim and Deus Ex. Neither Battlefield or MW3 will win because they are nearly the same game, choosing between them is like a choice between green and blue.

No because I think Deus Ex HR is a stronger canidate.

Great game, but how can you tell if you haven't played Skyrim?

OT: Too early, surely it will win them, as for if it deserves them, who knows.

There are alot of good games coming out this year so is hard to say. personaly, uncharted 3 and skyrim with both be game of the year to me. ^_^

I was gonna say it'll be Game of Life, but Bethesda will make more, so it's impossible. I haven't played it, and I already know it's GOTY worthy, if not already having cut the crop, sold the deal, rode the wagon, shaved the head, fed the fat kid, given birth to happiness, etc.

As far as RPG's go, it'll be Dark Souls or Skyrim for me.

As far as who will win the most GOTY awards I'm pretty sure it will be Skyrim. I would be very surprised if it didn't win lots of GOTY awards.

exactly although i kinda think uncharted will get a lot as long as they havent put to much into the multiplayer and not the single player and left that kinda stuff for BF3 and such

There's so many different sites that give out GotY that Skyrim is guaranteed to get it from one of them.

First, people say GOTY as if there's a universal GOTY award, when in reality pretty much every gaming related organisation gives one. That said, Skyrim's definitely a huge contender and lots of people are already labelling it as such (me included I admit :shrug: ). But in short, yes I think Skyrim will win atleast one GOTY award.

Too early to tell for me, and until I play Skyrim I vote The Witcher 2 as my RPGOTY. If any of you havent played The Witcher 2 you really should, thats only if your computer can handle it though, mine could only go medium settings and it was still the best looking game I have ever played.

As much as I enjoy call of duty I hope it doesnt win any more awards this year ( frank woods best character are you kidding me! )
Skyrim has been long awaited and all the previews are showering it with praise, its looking like a very strong conteder for GOTY

We dont know, the game isnt out yet, but at this point I think Skyrim is clearly the favorite to win GOTY.
