So i bought elder scrolls V via steam and so far have been loving it but lately it crashes without warning. I've tried waiting for a while and it usually runs fine for a bit and then does the same thing. I don't know what the issue might be. My set up is above the minimum requirements, it's a OS win 10, 16G ram, 1060 vid card. Is it possibly due to over heating? any info would be most appreciated, thanks.

you should have no problems ruining the game with the PC specs you have ...........but just in case check in the NIVIDIA console that you are using your card as dedicated video card and not using your processor

NIVIDIA control panel / Manage 3D settings / Program settings ..........and use the drop down box and select the SSE launcher .......if its not in the list you can brows for it

also, where do these crashes happen, around riverwood / whiterun? are you doing a quest or just strolling?...........and are you using mods?

Well, after verifying the game cache it had to reinstall 2 items. after that i got on and now it's started to crash anytime i try to fast travel.

I did a verify cache and it reinstalled two pieces, after getting back on after that it's not crashing anytime i try to fast travel.
