skyrim similarities to the norse ragnarok

No, that doesn't make sense at all. The Golden Saints keep peace in Shivering Isles, Valkyries are not peace keepers. Golden Saints are NOTHING like Valkyries, in fact, they don't have one single thing in common other than being women. I doubt you even know the first thing about Norse mythology.

Where is VikingBastard999 when we need him?

i never said it was exactly alike but i said it was pleasantly similar and if people are just going to keep posting about how i'm wrong and there is only one possible myth about ragnarok i will report them

Where'd you get that bit of information

As Exorince said earlier, Ragnarok is proceeded by a winter that lasts for three years (Fimbul Winter). Nidh?ggr is only mentioned in Voluspa twice, and the only mention of him rising is at the end of the poem, after Ragnarok has occured, and the world reborn.

From my Norse mythology lectures at university. As in all other prophecies several things can point to the same event. In this case fimbul winter is just one of these things.
But I must admit that "common belief" is a bit of an overstatement - and that the word "serpent" might be more fitting than "dragon" for nidh?gg.

also...lets face it most, teaching or lecturing (especially ancient mythology) is really a matter of opinion or whichever one the lecturer prefers (
