Skyrim SE is inevitably freezing after around 15-20 mins gameplay. Usually this occurs after something breaks in the game.

The first time the spells completely disappeared from my character's hands. The gesture and animations were unchanged but no spell effects and sounds. A few moments later the game froze completely requiring a hard reset.

Second time happened when I was in dialogue with an NPC (dark elf mage) when the sound suddenly disappeared and I couldn't exit the dialogue. Yet again a few moments later the game froze completely requiring a hard reset.

Third time happened when I was looting a dungeon. Sounds cut out again although I can still attack things. Sure enough a few moments later the game froze completely requiring a hard reset.

I've tried verifying game cache, disabling the touchpad thingy in Win10 and updating my GPU drivers (R9 390 8gb). Nothing has worked so far.

I was really looking forward to returning to Tamriel but if this keeps up I'll have to go back to Civ 6.

Please help! Anyone?
