So, this is probably a VERY simple bug to fix, but first here is the basic information:

I have the game on Steam

I have a 1280x1024 moniter.

Skyrim Special Edition will not let me input that resolution, instead I can only use 1280x800 and 1280x720 resolutions- which obviously then do not cover the lower 30% or so of my screen.

Any help to fix this? Reinstall? Fix the game via the steam library? Any help is appreciated!

Yooo,

Locate your (HomeFolder My Docs) File and open it with Notepad locate the following and edit your resolution accordingly:

bBorderless=1

bFull Screen=1

iSize H=1440 <<<<<<<<<<<<<

iSize W=3440 <<<<<<<<<<<<<

Also you might need V-Sync on by default on your system
