If you saw a Spriggan and a wolf charging you, then chances were that you would take down the wolf first to cut the incoming damage in half, since it would take extra much time to take the spriggan down due to its ability to resurrect itself and...
If you were fighting two or more spriggans then you'd have to keep track of which spriggan you started out fighting as to take each individual one down as soon as possible in an effort to cut down incoming damage and...
If you were playing as a battlemage then casting a spell could often be a bother while you were being beaten, but with spriggans giving you two opportunities to prepare a spell without interruptions you could cast a heal or refresh a buff, so deciding when to heal and buff up could become a part of the tactics behind fighting a spriggan
Basically fighting spriggans in Bloodmoon was a lot of fun and how they resurrected was an interesting feature that we unfortunately went without in Oblivion, but that got me thinking. Why did we get a different kind of Spriggan in Oblivion ? Some would say the spriggans were how they were in Bloodmoon because they were supposed to be hard since it was a hard expansion pack and that they could not have done the same for Oblivion, but some would say it was because people disliked it, then there is always the possibility of there being a lore reason (I should probably have done my homework on this before making this post) for why the spriggans of Solstheim resurrected themselves while the Cyrodiilic ones did not.
I myself would love to see a return of the Morrowind spriggan. But what is your opinion on this ? Does anyone know any lore that covers this, or did you particularly like one type of spriggan over the other and how do you think the spriggans should work in Skyrim ?
