Skyrim Statue in Oblivion

Post » Thu May 19, 2011 8:14 pm

In the Market District of the Imperial City, by the Best Defense there is a statue of a Nord with Sword and Shield - the emblem adorning the shield is the Skyrim logo.

His sword is upraised, and points at one of the imperial guard towers. Follow it's direction, explore the tower, and you'll find nearly every book in the tower mentions Skyrim. Be prepared to fight through hordes of guards since you have to trespass to reach the upper levels, heh.

Just a fun tidbit, interesting to find in Oblivion - perhaps there's more Skyrim mentions or easter eggs elsewhere?

Its not a skyrim logo, its the Akavari symbol for Akatosh, which the empire has been using for years(or something like that), but ya..that does seem pretty neat

Hmm, if that truly is a reference to Skyrim then that is pretty interesting.

The Skyrim logo is the Imperial symbol ("stolen" from Akaviri I believe), and the fact that most of the books in that guard tower mentions Skyrim is just a coincidence.

Your skyrim logo is also the morrowind logo, it means "Good game! play it!"
And about the books, a lot of the books in oblivion were the same as in morrowind.
