Skyrim Style Mods

The modders should put their shoulders to the wheel.

I would like http://www.ideasgeek.net/wp-content/images/the_elder_scrolls_v_skyrim-12.jpg in Morrowind. :celebration:

Why? Because you want it? Your post sounds very demanding and like you expect modders to produce a mod simply because you think they should.

Have you considered learning and doing it yourself?

Actually, I agree here. I think that armor just looks terrible as well.

Seems a little too "nu-RPG" for me. You know, asymmetrical armor style, half naked... if he's got blonde spiked hair under that helmet I'm going to explode.

You obviously haven't been to Elder Scrolls Series Discussion or Skyrim General Discussion. People never shut up about asymmetrical armor over there.

It actually wouldn't be terribly difficult to recreate the feel of that armor... just about every mesh there has a rough equivalent either in vanilla Morrowind or in the modding community.

I don't spend a terrible deal of time talking about games in general online, so no. If that's the case, then I have to say 'that svcks' but Bethesda has a business to run and catering to the majority pays the bills. Me, it reminds me too much of Final Fantasy and a ton of generic JRPGs.

I always failed the English subject in the school :toughninja: (I'm from spanish).

I rather remember:
Have to: Obligatory.
Must: Less mandatory.
Should: Recommendation, suggestion.

OK, I've changed the "want" verb to "would like", less aggressive :-)

The armor is COOL. And yes, I like a lot the Final Fantasy style. I getting bored of the western RPG's, always the same medieval themes: dwarves, dragons and princesses.

Lol'd, Morrowind has nothing of this. And Skyrim is much closer to generic RPG's than Morrowind.

As far as I'm concerned 'must' and 'have to' are equivalent, the only difference being that have to demands a complementary infinitive and must does not. They both denote obligation. But it's not a big deal.

And I'll stay in Morrowind for my Morrowind experience, and I'm not a huge fan of that armor either. When I want a Skyrim experience, I'll play Skyrim.

Or the Skyrim mod for Morrowind :D (if it's released before 11/11/11).

The first part will be released before 11/11/11, but the complete provience will take 5-6 years I guess, because it will be made in a high quality. We will have 200-300% more models than the vanilla game, 98% costum made, so there are no plans to finish the complete provience before TES5 comes out.

There are no plans to add any Final Fantasy or World of Warcraft like armors at this point and I doubt that we will decide to do it, hopefully.

5-6 ye...*gulp*...Are you including a Real-Time Raytracing engine with the mod or something?

Anyways, good to know we'll be able to get this mod soon :)

What do you expect? It's a provience, not an island.

You mean you're making it Oblivion-size? (well, Oblivion/Skyrim, as both will supposeadly have similar size).

Nope, we are making it Skyrim size, the lore accurate size that the provience has to have on this Tamriel Map.

Actually TES4 Cyrodiil was much too small from the scale if you compare it to the most maps, but who cares, it's another TES Part
