:banghead: One day before release means that the game is done- somewhere in some format. after the denial and sure to follow drinking habits, i lead a riot to Maryland and get a copy- simple as that. Long story short, nothing stops this guy from gaming :flamethrower:
I've been waiting around 13 years for DNF, and almost 4 years for Half-Life 2: Episode 3 (which is now rumored to have become just Half-Life 3 now), so a few extra months of waiting is nothing.
EDIT: Oops. In my lack of sleep, I misread the title.
Anyways, I doubt it would happen. And even if it did, oh well. I'd just put it behind me and get on with my life. :spotted owl:
I think he means canceled as in never released suddenly hehe.
My reaction "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I've seen this before". Then realise I just saved 30 quid from the pre order, so I could buy food for my family that week.
I'm not even gonna humor a "reaction" as the scenario is totally unrealistic. I don't think BGS is prone to spending tonnes of money making it, advertising it, and what not only to cancel it at the last minute. BGS will want to get some of their money back that they invested into making it.
A day before 11/11/11? It will be in stores by then.. Just break into Gamestop before they ship them back. If cancelled before shipping however, then me and my friend named Molotov Cocktail will visit Bethesda HQ.
Since I live fairly close I'd go out to the Bethesda Offices and stand outside all day yelling, "TOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD! TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDD!
I'd take a plane, then hire a car, go to Bethesda HQ, and wait until they come out of the office. Then proceed doing dangerous driving maneuvers towards them at unhealthy speeds.
