Skyrim.
The way I see it, if it's in summerset, then the whole game is gonna be DAEDRA DAEDRA DAEDRA. They'll lose that somewhat unique nature and become too common.

I don't think that our current processors could do TES Summerset Isle justice at this point in time. However, skyrim could be represented with our current technology.

Hard to choose because both places would be great for the next game. But if I had to choose it would be Skyrim.

I don't think technology as it is can fairly depict the chrystal tower, or Alinor: being made out of insect wings and all. the "most beautiful city on Nirn" should be left for the last game: at that point they'll be able to do anything

Honestly, I don't know. Cyrodiil is my favorite province though. Cyrodiil is the homeland of the Imperials, my favorite race.

Skyrim. I've written too many suggestions for the game assuming Skyrim for me to now not want it there. It's grown on me.

Summurset would be nice, to be sure, but I don't think that current tech could do the sprawling vertical metropolises justice. They need to do a lot more work using Umbra, as well as utilizing efficiency in how many NPCs can be rendered on screen at one time before they think about doing something of that urban scale.

Most definately Skyrim. I'd sooner beg Sheogorath to let me back into SI before I'd put up with all the conceited altmer. Then again, I tend to play a nord character, so my answer could very well be biased :D

I also have a bias: I just want to see the thu'um in some cutscenes. the won't put it in the actuall game because of the uberness factor, but it will have to show up at some point. same with the imperial college of the voice. if they don't...I'll make the non-existent throwing stars out of the disk and attach it to a spear that will be shot out of a crossbow at the Developers.

The Summerset Isles environment doesn't sound terribly exciting to be honest.
"The island has idyllic orchards and clear pastures, still and silent lagoons, misty woodlands, and the unique Psijic architecture that seems to be as natural as its surroundings." Sounds a little too much like Cyrodiil for my liking.

Skyrim. Because they I don't want them to screw up Morgiah the way they screwed up Mannimarco.

If Skyrim, they need to know some stuff about northern lands:

-Dark winter days, midnight sun in summer
-Cold, but not all year!
-Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights (what has lore to say about them and their relation to magic? It's sun's rays after all)
-Cold should kill you, fur clothing and firewood are important to aquire before winter (or in high altitudes)
-Snow can be deep too(I dont yet know a single game with realistic snow, mainly being just white textures)
-There should be few argonians hanging around in winter
-Bears hibernate during winter

Excacly. If Bethesda was to make Summerset Isles lore wise, Id rather they waited to the right technologi, and have it be flawless.

I want neither of them. Despite everyone saying that it can be so much more, and indeed, the fact that I agree, I expect that, if the next game were set in Skyrim, Bethesda would make it into Boring Ice and Snow Land. Now, I don't mind ice and snow, I liked Bloodmoon quite a bit, and it had a fair bit of ice and snow. But when the entire game looks like Solstheim or the Jerall Mountains, it's going to get boring at some point. Plus, the Nords are probably one of the more boring races in the game, not that you can fault them for it. When your world is full of magic and lizard men, Not-Vikings are going to seem mundane by comparison, even if they've been known to use magic voice powers. And Summerset Isle? It's full of elves, that's reason enough for me to not want to go there. Morrowind gave us enough elves already, and while I tend to dislike Dunmer as people, at least they had some fairly interesting culture there, Altmer, I expect, on the other hand, would just be your generic high elves, except more yellow.

I'd rather see Elsweyr, but that's not on the poll. Still, any game that takes place elsewhere would be nice.

I thought it was that way with cyrodiil.

I myself prefer skyrim i can imagine the concept for it tribal nord clans, ancient falmer ruins, the harsh and cruel weather, But I know little of summerset isles so i can't fully judge on whether it would be better than skyrim.

I voted Summerset.

But you bring up good points for Skyrim. Polar bears however do not hibernate. And they need to get the sound of the snow crunch under the feet right for the far north. It has a squeak to it and is far different than the sound of walking in snow they had for Bruma or Solstheim.

id rather have argonia or elsweyr, but if i had to choose it would be summerset isle. i like elves more than i do nords, even wood elves. however, that was 1 of 2deciding factors. the other factor being the matter of fact theres going to be few, if any, argonians living in skyrim, runing my chance of rping as one there.

I think argonia is out since its mostly a giant poisonous swamp that anyone but argonians could live in.
