Hey folks, Skyrim is on our doorstep and so on around December 11th I'm going to start a Skyrim RP. It'll be based around the main storyline of the game and as it will be a month after release people will be familiar with it. But yes get ready for Skyrim!

Also if you want to ask questions about the RP just post the questions here, if your not interested don't bother.

Neither probably it would be about one of the major factions. Thinking about Stormcloaks vs the Empire sort of thing.

Aww... I guess I'll host the competing RP that centers around the idea that "The Last of the Dhovakin" refers more to the generation than the individual: A dozen Dhovakhin in one place, ready to kick some Dragon Ass and save Skyrim.

Well details will be coming in about two weeks, I need to play Skyrim first.

I was just thinking about making a RP about the conflict between the Stormcloaks and the Empire but i decided against it because it was too early i would be very interested and i am looking forward tot he new details.

Does it have to be Dovahkiin related?

To make it easier for people to join I'm thinking it'll be a pvp so one side Legion and other side Stormcloaks so you should all play the civil war quests for both sides. Also with my co-GM we'll make our own missions for you's to go on as well as those that are in game. Details coming soon, but I have requirements for anyone joining.
1. You've RPed before on these forums or others.

i was actually having similar ideas for such an RP, then again there are so many new things that they have added, that i can't pick just one. But i can just see the Aldmeri Dominion just mopping up the mess of the winning faction.. damn elves.

I will have to play the civil war quests, because i think that if everyone had an idea about what was going on when they started to RP then it could very well be an epic adventure . Id rather this kind of average joe kind of rp instead of a multiple dovakiin one.. having too many would just be boring.

I'm scrapping my "Everyone's a Dhovakiin" Skyrim RP, but I'm keeping the "Everyone's a Dhovakiin" RP in development.

Maybe add the Companions in this.

I'll be creating one as well but it's going to be very small, only 2 people extra allowed. Far too busy for End Of An Era size Rps.

4th Era, 201st Year
It has been 200 hundred years since Oblivion opened; it is now a distant memory. A new terror has arisen among the chaos of civil war; Alduin (World Eater). The dragons are now on the rise attacking the land of Skyrim, but the people are too busy fighting each other to stand against them. On the 171st year of the 4th Era the Empire was on the brink of destruction, the Aldmeri Dominion threatened to destroy it and the Emperor was forced to outlaw Talos. And now the sons of Skyrim have arisen against the Empire, they are led by Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak of Windhelm. But the rebels don’t have all of Skyrim under their influence, the Imperial Legion is strong in the area especially now with their new leader, General Tullius. So now these two sides need to fight it out and fast as the Bringers of the End Times arise. What side do you choose?

The Imperial Legion
You have grown up under the ever present protection of the Legion, you view them as idols and when you come to age you eagerly join up. You’ve come to Skyrim to join; the rebellion is in full swing. You and your comrades are waiting at Solitude for the General, but he is late you all wander what has happened and when the General finally arrives you all find out.

The Stormcloak Rebellion
You come from the Eastmarch Hold, you and your fellows are sick and tired of the Empire. The banning of Talos was the last straw, you are Stormcloaks and you fear that the Empire has won when word reached them of the capture of Jarl Ulfric. But after a dragon attacked Helgen, Ulfric has returned. Now you and your comrades are preparing to attack the Legion.

In this RP you are either a Legion recruit or a Stormcloak recruit, you’ll be given missions by me and my co-GM. Missions will be from things like clearing out a fort to battling a dragon.

Rules
1. Me and my co-GM are the bosses
2. Use the OOC thread to talk about the RP.
3. You’re not god your character will get hurt.
3. No arguments between each other.
4. Romance is fine.
5. You can't control another person's character unless given permission.
6. Be realistic with your character.
7. Try to get in a min 3 sentences per post.
8. Don't cause trouble.
9. Have Fun.
10. Try to post in at least three times a week.

You remember me, don't ya? Well I got me Skyrim and I'll get a sheet up after I actually take a side in Skyrim. Never took sides before in an Elder Scrolls game to this extent...

How will you be ensuring fairness? What sort of base character stats are people allowed? What sort of combat experiences are we limiting to the sides? I'm all for pvp fights, but it would be nice if they were at least fair and balanced. Not 5 orcs vs 2 khajiit warriors.

Yes the fights will be fair, so when you go on a mission your not going to be overwhelmed and defeated, and when it comes down to dragons you'll get help. But me and my co-GM still need to discuss some things. Also this RP won't launch until after December 2nd.

this sounds very interesting, I'll wait until then to decide, got to see how the other rps turn out, and how much time i will have left, but you've got a deffinetly maybe
