Skyrim Is...

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 11:40 pm

I made a thread yesterday about what i think about Skyrim, though it was moved to a wrong section by somebody... So vote and let me see what you guys think :)

Well i think i gets boring pretty fast.

And i bet its the quests fault.

Theyre all, Go There Go Here, Get Me This, Get Me That, Kill This, Kill That.

Also dragons. Dragons in this game are FANTASTIC made, though they are, insanely easy to kill.

But thats what i think...

Skyrim is a great game, despite its shortcomings. As with each ES game, it has its own flavor and an enjoyable one at that too. I only wish there were more quests because the ones there are have been enjoyable. I think it's high time for a complete Tamriel game. I am hoping the next ES game is on the new Xbox and can offer us the entirety of Tamriel.

It's a mess and the only reason I've bought it is because that there is simply SO MUCH CONTENT that even though just about every single thing in is broken that still makes for one(1) good game.

I'm not sure how anyone can claim it's repetative and boring....the Dungeons and ruins are all so well done and varied in size and complexity....even the 40th "fetch" quest is interesting in both envoronment and enemies you face.

Skyrim and Arkham City are the only two games I've bothered to buy this year. Skyrim has some minor issues - major issues for some PS3 players, from what I hear - but it's a flat-out great game. I can understand the rage over some of the issues, at least from people with problems that are making the game unplayable, but I can't understand the general disappointment from some people.

Amazing, but I get bored sometimes. Dunno why.
Also, it has lots of bugs and issues that I dislike.

Phenominal, the best game. I am loving every minute of it.

Dungeons are amazing and so diverse.

The cities/towns I have been too so far are not exactly impressive, except for Windhelm. That town really impressed me with it's narrow winding passageways, beautiful architecture, excellent layout. Might not be huge but it feels big with it's layout and it has a lot of atmosphere. Really awesome town, love it!

I am so busy I haven't reached Riften yet and I have been trying to get there for literally a week in real time. Granted I only play for max 3 hours a day....but still.

NPCs are far more interesting and alive. Animations leave me wanting though, they are not very realistic in my opinion.

Scenery is outstanding and I am pretty sure that when I walked between two cliffs everything started to echo realistically.

Taverns are....all the same.

All in all though this is a brilliant game, the amount of detail put into it is incredible, the land so diverse, the atmosphere just fantastic.....and on and on....

Well, if you haven't seen Riften, Solitude and Markarth, prepare to be impressed a lot more. :D

Skyrim is awesome.

 This so true. It's "great" but certainly not the best ever. No game can ever be "best" IMO.

I think the poll speaks for itself. Good game, despite it's flaws.

Skyrim (PC version) - 7/10
There are simply so many little things wrong which become a big problem.
Giving it more than 8/10 is pure fan-boyism/girlism.
Still, most of those issues can be fixed and game can easily reach 8.5-9/10.
