I hope you realize that tattoos are permanent. And no I don't like it, I think its a decision that you'll come to regret.

This is Akatosh and the symbol of the Empire, not Skyirm :P If you choose it at least know what it means.

well da'h. i have 4 tattoos now so im Well aware they are permanent. i wont regret this. i havent with the other 3.
this stands for all the elder scrolls games.. but skyrim especially, as playing skyrim for over 400 hours already it has become my favourite game overnight. theres no room for regret when ya talk'n bout the elder scrolls. :)

I think it's cool, I just wouldn't have put it on my arm or made it that big, but kudos for going for it!

It's not really to my taste, but no tattoos are. It's on your body, so if you like it, I like it.

I think getting a tattoo of your current interests is a bad idea. I was once a high-five and a Four Loko away from getting a Lego: Star Wars tattoo a couple years ago... do you have any idea how angry at myself I would be now? Not a bit because I still love that game but the point I'm making is you may regret it.

Of all the things you could get a tattoo of, you choose Skyrim? What were you thinking? Or were you thinking at all?

Really, my personal views on tattoos aside, to get something that is little more than a current interest that will undoubtedly fade and change with time permanently engraved on your body is not the most intelligent thing to do.

ok sum here think this was a bad idea.. lol thats totally ok. but understand everyone is different and i have a final fantasy 13 tattoo too.. these arnt games i jump on for 20mins a week.. i spend hundreds of hours as often as i can playing them. also my fav band coheed and cambria's symbols i have too. the dragonfly and the keywork ones.. bands come and go but not coheed.. um exept for the bass and drummer players who stuff up and quit. but the band is still strong with travis and claudio.. especially claudio!
and to add. ive spend triple the time playing metal gear solid series. so one day i expect to have mgs tatts too.. its in the feelings you get playing these games that determine if they are " tattoo worthy".. skyrim's beauty almost brings me to tears at times its that good. am i wrong somehow? :)

I think it's a generic enough 'dragon' tattoo that it's fine :) If you had actually added the game name I might disagree. I've always avoided 'commercial' tattoos. Personally I think putting someone's logo on you is a bad idea. I like my giant robots and transformers but I won't put an autobot symbol on my bod. My 'robots' tattoo is a robotic arm that turned out really well. As long as you like it, that's the really important part.

This is not a topic for people who are against tattoos in general to respond. It seem like most of the negative posts are from people telling him he will regret getting it. He already has other tatoos so this is an addition to his growing collection. This guy has gotten a tattoo that has special meaning to him unlike most of the generic tattoos that you see people covered in nowadays. How many people got tribal bands or tramp stamps in the last 10-15 years? Those are the people who will regret it , not this gentleman. I have one tattoo myself, it also has special meaning to me since its from my favorite series of books (The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever). These are the types of tattoos that you will never regret getting. It's only those stupid trendy tattoos that people get when they are drunk and trying to be cool that are regretfull....So good for you buddy.......now go pick some flowers....just dont get them tattooed on the small of your back...ha

I think you need a new artist. Its not very well done, and you just got a tattoo of a game that covers your full upper arm, To me, thats stupid. Whatever though.

(Coming from somebody with an almost complete upper body suit)

It shouldn't matter to you what any of us think since you clearly thought getting it done was a good decision. :) As much as I loooove Skyrim... I strongly dislike any type of tattoos in general, so for that reason I didn't vote. What's important here is if YOU are happy with it! If you're happy with it then so am I! :D

I would've gone with a smaller, solid black version personally. Metallic effect tattoos look a bit tacky in my opinion. Also, if it was solid black, then in ten years time when Skyrim is remembered as being good but not great, you could say it's a Morrowind tattoo. :P
