Skyrim is the next Game Informer cover!

I'm extremely excited. Are there any public places where I could pick up a copy without getting a subscription?

Just about anywhere magazines are sold...

Subscribed to GI so I can have it in my hand lol. Also, with games like Mass Effect 3, the new Assassin's Creed, The Witcher 2, etc, my subscription should go to good use.

It's been a while since I've read any of the GI's I've gotten (mostly because I don't check the mail and no one told me I was still subscribed). Don't subscribers get the magazines before they are released in stores?

If the inside scoop is anything familiar to what we learned initially with the Game Informer scoop of Oblivion, I would expect a great focus on the new engine, graphics, combat, radiant AI, and other huge advances and innovations Bethesda is making with Skyrim.

@Gamemastr35 - Yes. Subscribers do get the magazine before it is released to stores. I believe it's about a week in advance or so.

Its just the history of TES, you know all the games since TES:Arena. Some interviews here and there, a map of Tamriel( Not official I guess), and just something I found EXTREMELY suspicious.

Well that's reassuring, bet it would still be an enjoyable read though. But at least my mind can rest... Until next month...

IDK if the GI magazine is here in NZ. Do they make the article available online?

There is an Australian GI (basically just the US version with a few little Australia-specific bits of info)... I suspect that this is also distributed to NZ.

Just go to a magazine store, no subscription necessary.

I think so. Check my previous http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1148780-skyrim-is-the-next-game-informer-cover/page__view__findpost__p__16798558.

That's what I've read, but I think the official word on it right now is "soonTM"

From Pete Hines' twitter:
"@Daren_P Doubtful. I imagine we will let GI and mags in other countries come out before we release screens. But we will see."

That's not to say we won't get some more "info," but it looks like no screens.

I usually get Game Informer a little bit earlier than most people. Is there a site where I can upload the scans from the magazine without them getting taken down?

There are plenty of sites you could upload the scans to (photobucket, imageshack). You're just not allowed to link the scans to this site.

Thanks for the update guys... I don't know if I'll be able to wait that long. The waiting was a lot easier before the game was announced, but now that I know it's coming, I feel like a little kid counting down the days till Christmas morning...

The "We will see" from Hines could be promising though...

Not here as it is a copyright infringement. And doing so elsewhere may result in that site being contacted to take them down. And don't ever link them here. We warn and ban for such. It's illegal in the states to infringe on copyrights. Those game magazines do these covers to sell their magazines and why would anyone buy them if they are all over the net?

True, but around here, I pass about 5 mag/book shops I could buy it at before I hit any EB games. It's why I suggest them. (Though I know not all places are like this.)

This might be a stupid question, but would it be allowed to sent links to scans via private messages? It's not really 'posting' as such, but it's still part of the forum software.

In any case, thanks to people who make scans so non-americans can get the information too.

Oh, I wasn't refuting your reply, I was just letting Seti know that GI can be bought at magazine shops or Gamestop :)

As long as you don't get caught. I mean, pm's can be reported. I'd suggest you not do it at all.
