Skyrim is the next Game Informer cover!

I kind of figured this was coming, but it's still good to know for sure. This means that not only will we get information in the issue itself, but we'll have a dedicated Elder Scrolls hub on Game Informer's website, which will be revealing new information online all month for everyone to see.

Examples of Hubs from previous issues:

But now it looks like we have to wait almost another month before we get any new info about the game...

Oh well. I'm just happy the game was announced when it was.

You didn't even need to put up all those links. If people don't get by now that you won't say anything about TESV without knowing it as a fact then they haven't been paying attention. Although it is good to hear.

I know, I just wanted to post some examples. I may have gone just a tad overboard with examples but as I said, I had linked to them all previously so they were very easy to find again.

Great news having it confirmed, I can't wait for more details. I'm going to read everything on the hub, and when it finally stops I won't look for more Skyrim info and I'll probably leave this forums for a while...

I am going to have a hard time lurking the internet searching for scans...

On the off chance that I actually get my issue before other members here, I definitely plan on summarizing and posting as much new information from the article as I can while still following the rules.

*Marks down January 6th on his Calendar*

I wonder if they've been developing this game longer then we think?

Well it has been roughly 26 months since they started actual development, judging by what Todd said at Quakecon, and assuming they started around the time Fallout 3 went gold.

Well, this doesn't make any sense.

Just over 2 years? On a completely new engine? What's going on?

So what normally is previewed in a GI cover? Screen shots + interviews I'm guessing?

Not a surprise. If you are a Game Informer member who gets it everyone month, the latest issue was dedicated to the entire history of TES. Game Informer more or less confirmed Skyrim before the VGAs did. Can't wait to get the issue though! :vaultboy:

Great, that means only a month left until we'll see screens, at the most.

Hopefully Game Informer asks them some good questions not like what color is Throat on the Mountain going to look like or are Nords going to be the tallest race.

I have one word for you, just one: calipers.

Imagine, if you can: 34 different sets of calipers, realistic caliper physics, 100+ caliper-based quests. I would say over 70% of the man-hours put into Skyrim so far have been toward the goal including more calipers in the game by any means necessary.

In what time of the month does Game Informer usually come out? And how many pages can we expect about Skyrim?
