Eh. Not a very good update compared to the last one.

I want a real trailer with real video of the game. THAT will be an update worth it's weight.

This is also dated late 2009. Hell were early 2011, imagine how much further the game has come and if any of the magazine screens are just as old.

Yes the fact that this is based on a screen shot is the part that impresses me. it means they were walking around Skyrim in 2009
this gives me a lot of hope for all the improvements that they will have had time to make since then, hopefully we will have a far less buggy game than some previous times

What can I say, it wasn't a very good update compared to all the info we learned about the creation tools. That was a good update. This one was a poor update. I want a GREAT update, unfortunatly I don't think we'll get a video of the game play until E3. Given that, I don't think we'll get a GREAT update.

It would appear so. I dunno if this means we wont have interior cells though. It could just be that cave entrances will start in the exterior world cell and then there will be a door or transition somewhere inside. They can probably do this now with the way snow works now, since it wont fall through into the cave entrance.

That was not actually concept art it was showing how concept art works but was actually a drawing of something from the game 2 yrs ago or i read the whole thing wrong and I dont think so .

Is that what they painted over? The troll in this pic looks very small compared to the one in the painted pic.

Not necessarily, on the first paint over of the background there appeared to be a symbol in the rock at the back of the inlet.

The music is great for some exploration or cave purpose, the artwork is good but... They'd better have shown us that screenshot in HD instead :sadvaultboy:

Nice catch. :thumbsup: It looks like a symbol to me, but you can't be sure I suppose.

That's the point of the paint over. To improve what is in the screenshot so that they can improve the game.

The only thing I really liked here was the music, unfortunately. The artwork was nice, but I didn't see the point of it. The least they could've done was shown us a comparison of the original screen, the paint over and then the finalized screen. Or something.

Oh well, we can't be expecting an earth-shattering reveal every day.

That was awesome. I loved the music!

Also, I hope this teaches some of you to not get your hopes up to such unrealistic heights.
I actually saw many people saying stuff like "I hope we get screenshots and videos! OOOH AND A TRAILER OR THREE."

No. There is almost a full year before the game's release, and it was only just revealed like a month ago! What do you expect?

I think this was a damn good update. We got a whole song. And new concept art!
Which is badass, if I do say so myself.
