I find this comment laughable, since every TES game has been grounded in a real-world anology in some form, synthesizing it with their own lore to make the unique flavor. It was overdone in Oblivion though. Playing through Solsthiem again in Morrowind, if there's one thing BGS is guilty of, (So far) it's sticking too close to their original Nord concept. I see a lot of detailed similarities between Solsthiem and screenshots from Skyrim, little things like architecture and the patterns used on things like the stone surfaces.
What game doesnt draw real world influences Guy? really?
a Central Jungel where the Capital of Tamriel is lauded as a sight to be hold elaborately constructed in Webs and Wheels in wheels Pattern, where entire neiborhoods rest on Bridges truimphs any visual representation given by the Lotr -Movies- to date, THAT is what I mean by, If beth would stick to the program, Nord lore is utterly unique in its own sense but of course its going to have a base where the concept should arise, but the similarites should end there. example?
Cannabalistic Bosmer, some with the ability to become powerful beasts who's sixual practices include a ridiculous orgy in tree tops
Or Khajiit's whos species depend on the Stages of the Lunar dance
Nords shouting people blind?
Argonians who's society is centered around sentient trees who are more of a mystery themselves as well?
thats quality Lore you do not find repeated in other genres......
