Skyrim is too far away.

I personally think that Bethesda should put Morrowind on the XBL Marketplace as an Xbox Original. It would not only help hype Skyrim but I think it would sell very well. MAYBE if we can get enough people on the forums to agree, then they will! I'm not sure about PSN. Thoughts?

edit: I realize this SHOULD be on a different forum but i posted it in anticipation for Skyrim so i figured it wouldn't be a problem.

Might be better suited for the MO forums or the General Discussion forums, but I'm all for the idea! Had to sell my Xbox version of MO a while ago.

edit: If they release a "Collector's Addition" of Skyrim, it should include all of TES games up to and not including, OB, as codes to download from XBL or PSN, they could also come on discs that you could download to your console/PC.

double edit: Agree with Vampire, poll's a bit biased and mods don't like that, might want to change it.

Don't forget about us Playstation owners!

Edit: Nevermind I didn't notice that you mentioned the PSN. But I don't see why they couldn't

For people new to the elder scrolls series planing on getting skyrim, playing morrowind would be a major step backward and it might not be brought by new comers.
On the other hand, bethesda can learn from 343 industries and release a morrowind redux in skyrims engine for a ___ year anniversary. though that's my thoughts haters.

Morrowind is reverse compatible with the Xbox 360 so no recoding is necessary. The entire game would have to be re-coded for the PS3 so,no it's not ever going to happen, sorry.

Pretty sure it's available in the xbox classics section. I haven't played a 360 in forever but last time I did it was available.

Oh shucks :sadvaultboy: Well in that case, do you think a 4 year old PC could run Morrowind? And I'm not a tech wizard so I can't give you any of the... whatever they're called.

Texas, but i have looked for it at GameStop, Best Buy and Walmart. The only one that sells ANY Original Xbox games is GameStop and they dont't have it.

edit: And i don't know if the 360 can run it, my brother broke my Original Xbox years ago.

GameStop can order it for you and it won't cost anything over what you would pay if they had it on the shelf. I just picked up a copy MW GOTY about 4 months ago at best buy for 20$(that's PC though).
