Skyrim: Uncommon Glitch, Please Help!

Post » Fri Jan 03, 2014 3:36 am

Hello!

I've been playing Skyrim for a long time and it have been running great...until some weeks ago.

To start with, the game always crash if I go to Save or Load in the menu, but sometimes I can fix it by typing "player.kill" in the console commands, but it usually doesn't work.

But that's not the biggest problem...

Everytime I load a save, I getting this huge problem there everything seems normal in first person, but I can't move the camera up or down. If I zoom out the camera to third person, the camera suddenly goes to the horse! Like I'm the horse! I can still see that my character is moving, it's just that the camera is locked on the horse

I have all the DLCs (Dawnguard,Heartfire and Dragonborn) and some mods and graphics mods ( 2K rocks, 2K textures )

My Specs:

i5 2500K 3.3 Ghz

8 GB ram

MSI GTX 770 2GB

Please help me!

I'm so sorry for my english :/

The save files can be the cause of crashing, how large are your saves in size compared to the ones that work ???

Sounds to me like it could be a save file corruption. Have you tried other previous saves. ???

This might be a mod issue as well. Ones that run scripts in the background could conceivably be an issue.

-------------

Delete your Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini in your C:\Users\ [your name] \Documents\My Games\Skyrim folder

and after that verify your game cache files. (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335)

Have you sorted your mod's with BOSS and cleaned possible dirty entries with Tes5edit. ???

I think the saves that's working is around 8-10 MB, and does who doesn't 11-12 MB.

I have, but everytime I save/quick save, and quit playing Skyrim for awhile, the same problem appears the next time I playing on that save.

Do you think it can be a mod who isn't comparable with Dawnguard or Heartfire? Because I started to get this problem after installing them.

Should I really delete Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini??

I haven't tested BOSS or Tes5edit, yet.
