I just read that Update 2 has already been released for the consoles. Are there any plans to fix the PC lag spikes?

Really? Lol, Bethesda really out did themselves in catering the console folks first while putting us pc players in the back burner.

You read wrong. The update isn't coming until the week after Thanksgiving.

The console patch has been released and is awaiting launch. PC update is "coming soon"...

Released means that consumers can acquire it, which we can't. Therefore, it is not released yet.

Uh...If it's Awaiting launch, then it's not released.

Also, from what I gather, a lot of the issues have been hitting the consoles a lot harder than the PCs. This is probably why they're getting theirs first.

But incoming Whining on PC users being "second class citizens" anyway...

Oh really? You sure could have fool me. The consoles folks are the happiest bunch in the crowd from what I can see in all the threads.

I've been playing everyday, a few hours a day, since 11/11/11. I've yet to have a "lag" problem, my card is a 4890 2GB and I have the game on Ultra with less shadows.

There's no worse information than misinformation. Of you want to get rid of the lag, stop by the tech support area here and I know they can help you get it all running smooth.

But insta-blaming the game, over your set-up helps no one.

its merely beth following the money trail with there nose. a game and company that has BUILT its fortune on the money adn time of many a pc gamer is moving more "mainstream" into the console crowd. i own a ps3, used to own a xbox, they are nice but are not my thing.

ill say this, i actually do feel a little "slapped in the face" as it were with how bethesda handled this game. console game first? it just feels...wrong. until third party adn user modifications get unrestricted access and consoles able to handle what can be thrown at a computer...pc will always be superior.

I was more looking at the list of Bugs that I can't seem to locate at the moment....

But as for forumgoers, Console focused players tend to be more content than PC focused players on a whole, not just with Skyrim.
