Skyrim very "comfortable" on Xbox

Post » Fri Sep 23, 2011 2:24 pm

here is just a little article with Todd Howard remarking on development with skyrim on the consoles,I hope this may alleviate some fear that i have read recently on the boards about how it will run/graphics.
surely it will not but worth a try.

They've got nothing to worry about, its being made FOR the 360. Course i wish it was being made for PC but oh well.

Since when praising an outdated console in a marketing ploy was assuring?

A console becomes out of date when a new one is out.
Just sayin'.
So seeing as there isn't a new Xbox anywhere to be seen, 360 is not out date yet. Neither is PS3 for that matter.

Just remember that the 360 is still using the same hardware from 2005.

Well, the Wii-U is on the horizon, and as much as you may scoff it is still a technically more powerful machine.

It's about as powerful as a PS3, but a bit less than the best gaming PC's, so I don;t really see that as some kind of next gen hardware, when you KNOW Microsoft will shoot for a jump such as the jump between 360 and the original xbox.

Okay, I stand corrected then, the console itself is not outdated. It's hardware is. Much like the dark ages of real life history, we have the same stagnation (On a smaller scale, of course) in graphics because physically outdated consoles are marketed as supposedly superior. We could have had the most amazing graphics and physics in Skyrim if not for Todd.

Oh, well! What are ya going to do, you know? It svcks but it's the latest Elder Scrolls we have. The world might end next year and I can tell you that, if it does, I would be damned glad that I got to play an Elder Scrolls game before video games went extinct! XD

But it would be a PC exclusive game which would have led to great losses for Bethesda since most of their fans are on console or does not have the PC required to play the game you seemingly want.

Or Bethesda liking money from more sources than just PC players. How dare they desire more money!

With comments like that, you really ought to just stick to series that are PC only.

Too bad they wouldn't be able to make enough profit to justify the game being made had it been a PC exclusive. =]
I'd like to thank Todd for being smart and making the games as accessible as they can be, instead of being a tremendous elitist [censored] that can't even afford to make games anymore because he feels some are less deserving of them. =P

Maybe you'd be happier without Todd, and by extension without TES. Then you could just [censored] about Bioware.
