Skyrim Video card recommendations

hey guys i have a crappy NVIDA graphics card (gt 100) and i want to play skyrim on at least high smoothly so i am thinking anbout buying the NVIDIA GTX650 or 640 and i was wondering if those would be good or if you guys can recomend a video card to run smoothly on high or medium

I asked some of my friends and they told me that you should purchase a video card that would fit nicely to the rest of the Components. Since you did not list those Components, i.e Power supply unit, Central processor and case for the most part, it is a bit harder to recommend a card suited for you. Based on those card and comparing it to mine, they think you would be able to play it fine within Your needs, depending on Your screen resolution. Higher anti aliasing and resolution Equals higher VRAM (card memory). I am not really that smart With computers so I would need to ask my friends for more information if you need. In the mean while you can check the thread Gorath & Mark41 linked to you, and since there's already a thread about it you can asked there instead :)
