Skyrim Weather out of sync.... Cant take it any longer

Post » Sat Mar 30, 2013 4:16 pm

Question... Why does it always seem that the weather system in Skyrim is always out of phases or not in SYNC. I am using Climates of Tamriel, and still seems to always rain during sunny times...

Sunny;

And thunder and rain while in game...

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
E.

You're using a mod that changes the weather? That could be the problem.

Yes, Climates of Tamriel, but it is happening if this MOD is active or not. That is the only one...

Thanks for replying Cider

I also use Climates of Tamriel and I had not that problem.
It started since the beginning of your game, or it just start to happen randomly ?

That is a tough one... I started a new game a few weeks ago, about lvl17 now. It has been happening for a while.

Im thinking of something triggering the bug in.
Do you installed or uninstalled any mods during the gameplay ? That in some cases cause lots of issues... scripts are messy sometimes.

That cloudless map looks amazing though! There's so much detail you couldn't see before.

No I am pretty good about that. I have a separate save folder for game play and test saves I use with MODS. This is weird...

I would try this:
Start a new game and play for a while, resting and looking what happens with the climate.
If the climate is good, then is a corrupted save file.
If the climate stills bugged, you could try a clean save, and reinstalling the mod.
That is what I would do heh.

I don't have a clue what's going on here. All I can say is that where I live (one of the regions with the most volatile weather in the world) I've seen some stuff like what's in your picture. Can hardly see a cloud in the sky, sun is shining brightly, but it's pouring down rain.

Of course, yours is probably just a bug and not some strange weather phenomena.
