Skyrim won't load now T.T

Post » Fri Nov 04, 2016 10:07 pm

Boyfriend was playing and just got to the thieves guild and suddenly he was kicked and the game crashed. Since we haven't been able to get the game to even load. I'm on Xbox one

Turned off all mods. And it works now

Just got to narrow down what was causing the issue

Turns out it was the seraphim mod. After disabling and reinabling it works fine. However I can't get the mod to work right now

I keep seeing the neck seam. And her pretty face disappeared. Can't figure out the correct load order (I know to have one after the other but it still doesn't seem to work)

Do a hard save. Go to the console and hold the xbox button in until the console shuts off. Then after 1/2 minutes, restart the console and you should get the green screen. This will clear your cache and you should have no problems then. It also gets rid of the seam. There is no correct load order for the xbox will load it. If you are using the unoffical patch, make sure it is at the very top of your mod list and that there are no mods above it. That is the only mod you have to worry about whre it goes. Hope this helps.

thanks! I'll give it a try in the morning and hope for the best. I managed to get it to work earlier but it crashed not long after and I had to disable and re-enable them and it caused the faces to get funny looking again and the seam to reappear. Will the hard reset fix this?

I think I like the vanilla body more and all the seraphim mods svck anyway. But yes, I had this problem too, drove me nuts for two or three hours trying to solve this problem. It's so wierd how much more stable Fallout 4 is compared to Skyrim.

There is probably going to be a period of time where many of the console mods won't work properly. Usually the mod authors fix the errors quickly and you can continue using them after they have been updated.
