So I buy Skyrim on Steam with my birthday money, and I start installing it. I have to shut down my computer before it's finished to go to bed and I thought that I would come back in the morning and finish installing it. I turn my computer back on and the update for Skyrim has been suspended. It doesn't start the update again and so I open it thinking it would start again but it says:

"This game is not ready to play in Offline mode"

Can anyone help me with what this is and how to fix it plz?

Sounds like Steam is in offline mode.

At the top left of the Steam window, click Steam (Next to view, friends etc) and then go to 'Go Online'

If that doesn't work, try closing and restarting Steam.
