I tried to play Skyrim after a few months and this happened. My game won't save, or show any save files under load. The old save files show up in the save folder but not in the game and newer save files don't even show up. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Maybe an update was made to your security program, make sure that Skyrim has permission to access the system.

I've never used any mods and my operating system is Windows 7. It's strange becouse the game worked perfectly fine just a few months ago. I also don't think that any security program is disabling the access to the system.

Where is the game installed?

Please run dxdiag.exe and post the full report in spoiler tags. Maybe we can see something in the report.

You might want to see if you can update the video card drivers since they are really old.

The only thing I can see is that you are starting to run out of Hard Drive space on C and on D:. D looks like to me it is a recovery partition that stores an image of the system at the time of purchase. 45 Gigs is below the 10% minimum of the partition.

Are you noticing any other issues like drive space is getting low. Issues with saving files from other programs.

How long have you had the system and the Hard Drive. When was the last time you tested the Hard Drive.

The hard drive is getting pretty full I've been having some issues with assassins creed not saving and cod saying that it's unable to start becouse the hard drive probably doesn't have enough space. So you're saying I just need to make some space on the hard drive?

That. Maybe see what happens when the Hard Drive is over 100 gigs maybe try getting it to 150. You can try running chkdsk /r in the command prompt. that will check the hard drive to see if there are any problems with it and repairs anything it can. Also you might want to run a disk defragment that is why I suggest maybe getting the hard drive space up to about 150 gigs.

Try a game cache verify. Also try to run the game as administrator. Right click the Skyrim.exe and select "run as admin".

I've already tried the administrator thing a couple of times and it doesn't work but I'll try the other thing.
