Just chhanging the color to white would make it snow, but I'm not amazingly impressed by the look of that game, it's just, cartoonish

don't think it is very deserty in skyrim though...

But I guess good snow physics would be nice, a lot harder to do i think when you have so many different types of moving objects.

I'm looking forward to Journey. I never buy PSN games, but this might be the first. We haven't seen much of Skyrim's weather physics yet.

Genius idea.

Seems like it could be pretty cool if the prints lasted so many hours of skyrim time or something like that .

God, Journey looks absolutely stunning.

I wish more games had sand/snow physics like this.

Not really physics, the sand is not being rendered in real time. It's the same way that water worked in Oblivion. On PC at least.

I'd rather see Euphoria in Skyrim than fancy snow, etc,. (Euphoria would be great with the spells, and combat, it would definitely make it feel more realistic, or at least less repetitive.)

It could also stand to have better physics, the bodies don't seem to have realistic weight, etc, (If you watch the gameplay trailer of Todd playing, that dragon picks up a character, and drops him, and the way he fell seemed kinda slow, not quite as bad as Oblivion was, but still, it didn't seem right. The animation looked weird too, Euphoria would be great here as well since the NPC could react to the fall, etc,.)

Though, it's hard to tell, that was pretty far away, so it could have been an optical illusion of sorts.

Anyways, that's a pretty cool video, it's not 100% realistic, but it's looks pretty good, and works nice with the graphic style they used, etc,.

I wasn't aware PhysX could do on the fly NPC animations like Euphoria does. (?)

I've seen it do things on the level of Havok, cloth simulation, etc, I'll have to poke around, see if they've expanded it since I last checked. (Though, doesn't that require a PhysX card, etc,. ? I remember not being able to enable it in Batman Arkham Asylum for some reason.)

Here is the kinda stuff I was referring to. (Imagine this with swords, and spells, etc,.)

That sand doesn't move realistically at all... it looks more like water ripples than sand. Anyways they already said Skyrim has dynamic snow, you can apparently even see it in action in the E3 demo (I never noticed it though)

I always just told myself that Nirn is a smaller planet than Earth, and thus as less gravity. That would explain why everything falls slower, people carry more, run longer, etc.

That was.......um, interesting to watch but odd. That game would get quite repetitive though and looks like an interactive cartoon. As for the sand physics, nice effect but it wouldn't suit Skyrim.

Let's wait to see what kind of sand physics/animations Uncharted 3 has.
