Is Skyrim your first TES game?

Nothing too major. Early on I had the FNV bug where quicksaves weren't appearing. Easily fixed. Occasionally certain guns would freeze. Normal little stuff. Skyrim was very unstable for us at first, but with the first patches it got a lot better.

Yes Skyrim is my 1st TES game, but not my last

I really liked the look of the game. I also liked the open end exploring that you could do. It looked very beautiful and like it would be a lot of fun. I didn't know it was a ES game at first.

So here I am 1 year later, still playing the game and loving it even more than when I first started the game.
I'm on a pc so I can use mods, another 1st never used mods in a game before. A lot of fun !!
I love mods because you can add places to explore, make the night sky more beautiful things like that. No cheats or super weapons.

I started out with Fallout 3 as my foirst Bethesda game, and because of that I bought Skyrim. So far I've played 630 + hours of it and have loved every minute of it. I have never played any of the other TES games,.... so which other one should I start with.

I first started playing with The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall.

I've always love RPG's, but I was getting tired of the linear aspect of the Final Fantasy series. I had found myself randomly wondering what it would be like to be able to take this great character and just go wherever i please at any given time. My friend Adam has been playing since Arena, and when I brought my idle wondering up in a conversation with him, he got his copy of Daggerfall out and we fired it up on his PC.

I was hooked, and have never really played any RPG series except for The Elder Scrolls since then. No other RPG holds my attention as I soon start to miss the freedom and customization of The Elder Scrolls too much in order for me to really get into other games.

Been a Tamriel transient ever since. :D

Just pick the one that interests you the most. They're all good. If you prefer just understanding the game from the get go, Morrowind or Oblivion are best to check out next. If you want to just go ahead and check out Daggerfall or Arena, be warned that they are games with controls that were more common at the time of their release. They may not be something you are used to unless you have played any 90's first person dungeon crawler RPG on the PC. Not trying to say you shouldn't play them. I'm just focusing more on the controls.

Oblivion. i used to watch my cousin play oblivion whenever i went to meet him in 2007 then during summer holidays i went to stay at his place there i played oblivion for the first having not played any RPG before it took me some time to understand RPG elements how you are supposed to play the game. i played it i liked it then my cousin told me about morrowind then i played morrowind pretty much playing ever since.

My first TES game was Morrowind. I only played around with the game a little bit and never got very far from Balmora, but it was a very cool first impression. The pure freedom really shocked me in comparison to anything else I had played before. I still want to give Morrowind a real go now that I'm older and really love these types of games. I just got a laptop that can actually run it vanilla (all I'll need for now) but I'm busy enjoying Civ IV again for now.

Soon the story of the Nevarine will be told yet again......
