Is Skyrim your first TES game?

If so, what prompted you to play it? If it isn't, then to which title did you lose your TES virginity to?

Nope. Technically Morrowind was my first TES game, but Oblivion was the first one that I bought.

Morrowind was first for me.

Why not add a list of TES games in the poll's 2nd question, so you can just see the results there?

Skyrim's my first.

I was actually told about the series during morrowind via one of my good friends, but I couldn't play them as I didn't have a PC... just a Mac.

Years later, and after a good financial move, I decided to finally pick up a PS3 and Skyrim as a reward. I had not anticipated what I was getting into... but do not regret it ONE BIT! ^_^

Oblivion, Morrowind, Daggerfall, Skyrim. Skyrim is by far the most fun though, in my opinion.

Skyrim was the first TES game I bought, I played Oblivion until the end with 1 playthrough.
I wasn't really big on games before Gears of War.

Yes, Skyrim was my first TES game, and I don't know what got me to play it, but I'm glad I did.

Morrowind was my first and almost my last TES as it's terrible on xbox but then I gave Oblivion a chance years later when I bought the GOTY edition and I fell in love...played it everyday until a week before Skyrim came out and been playing Skyrim everyday since

I await the hate from the MW fans :P

Daggerfall was my first and been playing ever TES games ever since.

I played that a lot, then Morrowind for maybe a year, got tired of it. Then Oblivion came, I fell in love for five years then on to Skyrim. Now I bounce back and forth between Daggerfall, Oblivion and Skyrim and Fallout 3. Morrowind never really caught on.

1. Morrowind
2. It was interesting enough to make me want to check out Oblivion.
3. Many plays of OB later, tried Daggerfall (didn't make it past the first city).
4. Skyrim

(And if we include all "Beth-style open-world games", Fallout 3 and NV are between OB and Daggerfall. But they're not TES games.)

Interesting and at the same time unsurprising to see so many Morrowind first timers here. Me, I'm an old hand with TES - I started with Arena back in 1994. Ah those were the days... the gloriously pixellated days. Can still remember the final dungeon and boss fight with Mr. Tharn way back then, good times.
