haha

yes but all my friends (whom can be counted on one hand) are also game nerds,

Lucky you...I may have a couple of friends that will actually buy Skyrim but they make mistakes like saying "Oblivion 2" instead of TES V so...not enough nerdy :P Actually the only people who I can properly discuss tech suff is online (these forums included :D) and the guys who work at a PC store across my school :(

Anyway...no my social life will not end, I'll still hang out with my frieds all day...I'll simply play like I always do 11pm to 4/5am :flamethrower:

Skyrim is going to kill some of my hours. I will be playing it almost 24/7 the first months. Gahhd, the first years. My social life is at its peak right now and I have a feeling it will drop...

I'm most likely going to be stuck in Singapore for awhile when the game drops. I won't get to play it until I get back to the states. :sadvaultboy:

I am shocked about the amount of people who voted for #3.

... I thought I was alone! We should combine our forces and take over the world.
But first, let's play Skyrim.

You do realise you are in an online forums about videogames from a company whose best games are RPGs (the nerdiest genre of all) :P

Between work, law school, and studying, I don't really have much of a social life to begin with. What spare time I have is late evenings, so that'll go to Skyrim most likely. Oh well, three semesters to go and then work/law school/studying should turn into just work, leaving at least a little bit more time for social life.

So far, I would say that yes, Skyrim has pretty effectively quashed any social life I would have, which is to say, none at all really.

My friends and I who play TES are going to war with those who don't. Every moment we spend together will be spent talking about Skyrim more than likely and those who don't play are going to be annoyed at us. It will be hilarious.

No, I wouldn't forsake my weekly 5-a-side and any drinking activities.

Skyrim vs my JOB, however, might be a different story.

that happened to me with oblivion ... and it will happen again with skyirim... i think breaking up with my girlfriend is a possibility since she hates video games ... and the "school vs skyrim" is what really worries me :S

I will lose my social life for only the first few months. LOL :D I will slowly go into rehab to kick the addiction then I will go into a controllable relapse!

I don't have much of one. just a few good friends and family.
...but I might just have to fake my death so they don't think I disappeared on them purposefully.
I don't know how I am going to work or complete my graduate degree (hopefully the degree will be completed by the end of summer)

From 11-11-11 and one year ahead I will only care about two things - my work (since I don't have any other choice) and Skyrim. Well, I will care for my dog too to be honest. :celebration:

I will do everything to be able to play Skyrim as much as possible. I plan to play on average 3 hours per day in the first year, which is roughly 1000 hours (I have about 700 hours with Morrowind and 2000 hours with Oblivion, but obviously spread out over several years).

Ha what social life? I never had a social life to begin with yet alone when Skyrim comes out which is certainly not going to remedy that.

I'm going to take a week or two off from work to lose myself in Tamriel. All my friends are grown and gone, so nothing there. And my wife is fully supportive of my gaming obsessions. In fact, she might play Skyrim on the 360 while I game away on the PC.
