Phew... that poll was a headache to make! Lots of choice in Skyrim, not to mention dragon shouts + all the those the poll has mentioned!!

I know most of you will try everything as far as weapons go, but tell me which weapon combination you think you'll use the most in Skyrim

Mage with Bound Bow/Dagger for sneaky bits.

Voted for Dagger+Spell, 2H Bow, 2H Destruction to fit the plan

I wonder if conjuration will be cool

As much as i want my first char to be dual sword/axe wielding warrior he probably will be a conjurer

90 year old Altmer mage, using all sorts of magic, but mainly Destruction, Conjuration, Illusion and Alteration.
No weapons or armor for me.

Probaly 1h + sheild but maybe 1h + random spell, not sure yet

I'm generally a mix, though in morrowind and oblivion I was always a wood elf assassin born under the shadow.

I like bows (though they weren't the most useful thing in the last game) so I'll prob always have one, and I guess just a sword/ shortsword as backup

As an illusion thief i'll be using illusion (usually invisibility, it uses less mana than chameleon) and a sword. Probably a short sword, maybe a dagger.
And i'll swap to bow quite often.

Yeah conjuration is great, I know it will be great in Skyrim as well. 1H Illusion + 1H Conjuration FTW

I'm making a Redguard Shield Mage, Shield in left hand, spell in right. I'll be focusing on Conjuration and Restoration most likely so I can buff myself and conjure weapons and armor. When I want to use Adrenaline Rush I plan to pop my buffs, conjure up a two handed warhammer, and go to town.

Probably going for 1H + Shield combined with Restoration/Destruction. I think you can call it a Paladin? Though I really dislike that label, I am going for something that's offensive and defensive in both mele and magic. But I probably will touch the Mage stone in order to increase my mage skills faster since I will be using melee more then magic.

I had origonaly planed to do a sword and sheild only nord (to fit the trailer and what not) but now im pobably going to be a jack and get a taste of everything, cant wait for 11/11/11, sooooo close! :celebration:

Yeah, I'd get a real shield for the bashes, the staggers, the charge and whatever else. Along with switching between favorites, I think it'll be a pretty interesting playstyle overall.

Since my playstyle usually boiled down to a combination of spells, sword, and shield, I'm probably going to have to compromise in Skyrim. My current idea is to use spell and shield while sneaking or for long distance, and switch over to sword and shield at close range.

And technically if you adhere to the skill is there aren't any Thief weapons at all :V

Sibyl, my v?lva-type shaman-in-training, will use a mixture of skills, to include alchemy.

For your poll:

-Mixture
-Not a Warrior
-1H Alteration + 1H Destruction
-Although, Not a Thief, she will sometimes use a dagger with a spell.

Sibyl will use alchemy as her governing skill, with all other skills in support.
Weapons will include magic, staves, daggers, 1H axes, and bows.
Attire will be mostly cloth or light armors

Planning on playing a Ranger type characther.

Not sure if its more warrior or Thief

Light armour,Is able to sneak, Sometimes uses a bow depending on situation, Mainly dual wielding Either 2 1hswords or 1h Sword +Dagger
Probably end up in Fighters guild rather than DB or Thief guild, so Probably more of a Warrior
