SKYRIM VS ZELDA:Skyward Sword! GO VOTE!

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 2:11 am

I understand that a lot of people come to these forums with minor gripes. But you have to admit that Skyrim is an amazing game, and it definitely deserves to win over Skyward sword. Skyrim has many times the amount of sales that Skyward Sword has...there is no way Skyward Sword should win. So go vote, and don't let those little kids... the same ones with the squeeky voices on Xbox live... don't let those little freaks win. :toughninja:

Buggy, broken game versus a well polished entry in a renowned series. I think the choice is clear.

I voted for Zelda...I enjoyed it more than Skyrim. :flamethrower:

EDIT: By the way. I'm 42 years old... By no means do I have a squeaky voice.

It's funny when I read about everyone saying it's the buggiest game ever, when I haven't encountered any yet apart from freezing :P

I swear, some people on this forum must be working for a rival company of Bethesda. Or they just don't know how to use their computer properly.

Go buy a console. Better yet go buy a Wii and play Skyward Sword. You don't deserve Bethesda's attention, and that is why they ignore you. Spoiled brats, freaking rich people's kids or something, who got a PC built for them by some one else.

Why aren't you on Nintendo forums?

42 years old? You in a retirement home? The other market for the Wii.

Skyward Sword has been pretty awesome I'll admit, but it's too oldschool, and the kiddy style is just annoying. Everything looks [censored]. Everything sounds [censored]. The character sounds, even the music often, which has taken a definite downturn since Koji Kondo started phasing out of participation in Nintendo music. The puzzles have been top notch, and there've been some epic moments, and the plot is probably better than Skyrim's, but Skyrim is more of a game. Wins for me, though it was close.

A game where you can ripp off someones head, compared with a game with a green miny peter pan fighting colourful creatures who escaped from disney channel... SCREW YOU!!!!!

I was actually wondering this too...so many people here seem to want to brag about they voted for Zelda; its like..then why aren't you on the Nintendo forums?? But I guess that's no fun...misery loves company afterall.

Also, of course Zelda has less bugs - it has a miniscule amount of content in comparison to Skyrim. Also, yeah. I found it too childish when I was 12, let alone now.

I wonder that too. They should be on nintendo forums speaking highly of the zelda game, and singing the last song of Barney the dinosaur.

I voted against Skyrim. Bethesda needs to learn its place & release functional games on launch. Coming out with patches 2 months after release to address game-breaking bugs that shouldn't have existed to begin with is not acceptable.

Exactly, cute girl!

Zelda has 50-100 hours of gameplay as claimed by nintendo. Skyrim has 300+ hours, before mods. Zelda uses an old style of gameplay, Skyrim is revolutionary in gameplay, Of course there would be no bugs in Zelda, there was also no risk taken since it uses old technology.

Tried to vote but it wouldn't let me make an account for some reason. But then the amount of petty braying that's going on here and on that site over a freaking game makes me want to disassociate from it all anyway.

Seriously. lol What would happen if Skyrim loses? Would everyone who works at Bethesda cry themselves to sleep? Dude, they've gotten over 500MILLION dollars in sales...and it's not even Christmas yet. Bottom line, Skyrim is the better game. For every one person who is over here whining about a little bug, there are 500,000 people playing the game and enjoying themselves.

I suppose you think that is funny? I play both Skyrim AND Zelda. Hell, I just beat GTA IV not too long ago (behind the times I know). Just because I voted for a diffrent game doesn't make me a fan- -boy. I've been play TES games since Daggerfall...I just enjoyed Zelda more this time around. Oh, and for the record...I disliked Twilght Princess. So if I like an other game just a little bit more...and it's a Nintendo game..I may as well be on the Nintendo forums... That's makes a whole lot of sense.

And since when does 42 years old = retirement home status?

By well polished you mean, a game that looks like a program for the Baby Channel ?

Well... framerate issue, main quest glitch & at least my character has frozen twice and I had to restart my NEW PS3. Now, I would like to ask you again, is it wise to vote for something that is broken to be GOTY?

You may not have any issue with the game maybe because you are lucky or you just ignored it due to you being a really devoted fan of the series, whatever is your reason, it doesn't matter because many people had this issue including myself. If you really don't encounter any issue, then that's good.

And by the way, Bethesda released Skyrim on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 while Zelda Skyward Sword was released only on Nintendo Wii. Please make a better comparison next time.

Anyway, I have played both games and I am 100% confident that Skyward Sword is better than Skyrim. I even prefer Dark Souls compared to Skyrim.

There you go, I found a place where you whiners can roam free and be happy. No one likes to hear people whining all the time. I spend my time on another Skyrim forum just because there are less of you whiners there. Go stick with safe, boring, simple and unoriginal games if you can't deal with being on the edge of technology.

I cant understand how skyrim can be compared with that caartoon-ish game and how that game can win against Skyrim (49-51 at the moment)

My guess:

1- Haters that see bugs in the game are voting "against" Skyrim  I tell them: Get the hell out of our forums you spoilt whiner children!!! Go play that cartoon you voted for!!! :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear: :swear:

2- The voters lack the sufficient IQ to see the quality difference

Oh my god, It isn't effing broken, it isn't unplayable, it's a huge world, of course there will be more bugs then in Skyward Sword and Dark Souls. Skyward Sword is good, but GOTY ? Hell no, Skyrim deserves it by a mile, stop making no sense at all.
