For some reason when I try to launch skyrimse.exe it fires skyrimselauncher.exe instead. How can I get it to stop doing this? I'm getting tired of having to hit play every time. Gets old fast when going back and forth testing out mods.

Is Steam already running before you click on the skyrimse.exe.

Rename SkyrimSELauncher.exe to SkyrimSELauncher.exe.old.

Make a duplicate copy of SkyrimSE.exe and rename it SkyrimSELauncher.exe

I've tried it both running and not running with the same result.



I'll give that a try. I'm so used to SKSE just firing the game right up that it's weird for me to have that extra step.
