Slavery! At it's finest

Does anyone else wish they would have focused on slavery more? Compared to FO3 there is nothing. Except caesars legion, but there are no quests or anything

I never really did any slavery in F3 but I liked that the option was there but New Vegas has no option with so many possible slave the only bit of slavery you get to do is freeing that family at CottonCove
I acutally wanted to start slaving people in New Vegas but couldn't because it doesn't give me the option when siding with slavers to slaver people

I was hoping for more slavers to kill! I always loved storming Paradise Falls with Fawkes when we both had a Gatling Laser! Wasteland Justice at its best.

Yep. Caesar's Legion would be a much more interesting faction to join if the option to enslave people for them had been included.

The NCR outlaws slavery, and NCR rangers make it their personal mission to track down and wipe out slaver rings just outside of the NCR... it makes sense that the Legion is the only group of slavers in the Mojave.

It would have been nice if the Legion got more attention in general, though.

I never did much slaving in FO3 (aside from one character who was a total sociopath), but I do admit that I sometimes wish I had the opportunity to do so in F:NV, especially as it would make sense for some Legion RPs.

One thing about it in FO3, that didn't bother me at the time since there was nothing to compare it to but does seem odd in retrospect after seeing Dermot's Ledger during The Coyotes, is how you always got paid the same amount for each slave, regardless of age or condition.

For example: in FO3, a fully-healthy prime-aged slave paid just as much as some useless sickly crackhead or a feeble oldster. Dermot's Ledger, on the other hand, shows varying rates depending on the age and gender of the slave, as well as the preferences of the buyer (this last was fairly limited, but you can see differences if you look closely). The ledger also shows that in many cases they had to get rid of anyone who might keep them from carting off the slaves, while in FO3 all you had to do was be HIDDEN while zapping the target and then tell them to run off to Paradise Falls, which they would always reach unless in certain exterior cells.

While not a fan of slaving, I wouldn't object to it being present as a natural adjunct of Legion activities, since it is a major aspect of their culture; I would want it to follow similar lines as laid out by the ledger, since that would give it a logical basis. In other words, if we are permitted to slave, then the client(s) would want specific types and numbers thereof, with the associated risks/profits involved in their capture and transport.

You need genocide and slavery to have a good time?

It would've been nice to see non-Legion slavers. Or Legion slave camps that you can either free or join up with. It adds flavor to the game and provides moral choices for the player. So if you're playing an evil character or a Legion supporter...

But more importantly, think about this. Walking into a Legion slave camp with a squad of your favorite companions just blowing up everything that isn't a slave! Then free them, maybe get some monetary rewards.

I couldn't help myself - I have to kill slavers.

Tried to play the game different, but found right in the middle of dialogue with slavers I'd stop and kill'em dead.

Sorry folks, just can't stand slavery even in a game.

Well aren't we just all kinds of fancy.

Hell, all I need is a can of CRAM and some duct tape.

It would have added more fun when siding with the Legion. More diversity = better.

Slavery is boring. I would prefer to collect ears off regulators.

Slavery is nothing to make light of, even in a video game. Nah! just kiddin! I don't subscribe to slavery, and I usually blow away any slaver I met, but Susan Lancaster ensured my non-violent entry into Paradise Falls, so I could meet Eulogy Jones and take his suit from his cold dead fingers.
