Sleeping Guards

Post » Tue Feb 01, 2011 3:05 pm

I made a fresh game when I started my vacation this month with FCOM and played for 60hours, good time. However, I had guards sleeping at their posts (laying on the ground), especially in Bruma. I just ignored it, just wanted to play.

Since now I have two months before another vacation, I am working on a new install, this time Pyffing everything and cleaning mods (even some merging). I am hoping to avoid the sleeping guard issue so am looking to see if anyone had this issue. When I clicked on the guard I could access his inventory and it was not stealing (showed the dialoge icon).

My game was pretty basic and consisted of the following:
GOTY
Knights
DLC Battlehorn
DLC Orrery
DLC Horse Armor
DLC Spelltomes
DLC Mehrunes Razor
FCOM Frans, OOO, MMM, Warcry, Bobs, Cobl
UL mods except lost cost
Kvatch Rebuilt
Alex
The Alyeid Steps
Mighty Magica
Thievery in IC
Thieves Arsenal
Vaults of Cyrodiil
Band Of Cyrodiil
CM Partners base mod
Cyrodiil Travel Service
Blood & Mud

I Had the UOP patches (UOP 3.20 plus USIP and UOMP) - Can't use UOP hot fixes, they crash my computer in the same spot

Bashed patch had all available options checked where appropriate (except FCOM related rules)

Still might help to PYLO (post your load order), preferably via Wrye Bash's "List Mods" function.

Would if I could but I already wiped that install and working on new one now. I figured someone may have run into this and there can't be many causes.

This looks like a problem I am having. The guards in question have a negative fatigue value. I have made a thread about this problem earlier and here is what CorePC said about it:
I have seen a couple thread's on the this exact same problem over the past few weeks. And the advice is this for now

Disable extra wounding esp that should make a difference. Else turn off Realistic fatique.

The extra wounding.esp is a part of MMM.

Sadly, I dont have a solution for waking up guards who are already sleeping on the job.
