[REQ] Slight change to Great House Dagoth

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 6:01 am

Hey there,

So I've run into a problem with Great House Dagoth. During the first (only?) Ash Slave quest, I keep clipping through the architecture in the various citadel keeps for some reason and I end up walking endlessly through the black void outside of the walls. I think it has something to do with the transformation scripts; I've run into it before while using Scripted Spells. Combined with the fact that I'm 100% blind, I have absolutely no idea which way is up and this complicates getting back on track. Would anyone be willing to lessen the intensity of the blindness during the Ash Slave phase and maybe for the next phase, too, just in case?

I'd normally do this myself, but I'm unfortunately stuck using the Steam version of Morrowind and the CS crashes every time I try to load the Bloodmoon.esm, which GHD requires.

Just wait 2 days and the blind will begin to wear off. The clipping is pretty bad in 3rd person, so i suggesst 1st. Even then, this is an old game, and the transformations are something that is at the edge of MW modding capability. I reccomend ya either live with it and accept it for what it is or dont use it, because if the transformations could have been optimised anymore, they would.

I've been using 1st person mode and I know the transformation scripts are as good as they're going to get; I've been using Scripted Spells for years. The transformation isn't even really the issue here. It's the fact that I am 100% blind (I know it's quest related, but c'mon) and being just a little less blind would help me out a lot. As in, help me find my way back to actually being inside the walls of Odrosal. Being able to see would at least help me not drift off into space and I can live with the horrible clipping as long as I can see, y'know?

I'll try waiting a few days, like you suggested.

EDIT: Thanks for that, it helped. I can see! Unfortunately, the savegame has taken to crashing every 30 seconds now for some reason and Endusal seems to have disappeared off the face of Vvardenfell, so...Time to start over, I guess.
