Sload, Imga and Lilmothiit?

Post » Sun Jun 26, 2011 3:33 am

Ok so it would be awkered (spelling), but the Tsaesci or the Tang Mo would be fine surely?

People would probably attack you on sight if you were an Akaviri, no matter what race, just like if a Man, Mer, or Beast showed up in Akavir. The only other race I could see being playable would be a Maomer.

The 10 races use boats sure, thats why the are all over the place, but the Imga (small population) Sload(hated) and Lilmothiit (extinct and or missing) would not appear in Skyrim.,

Imga - it's called breeding, humans do it to well in real life.

Sload - So where the Orcs in Arena, then they became playable

Lilmothiit - missing being the key work

You couldn't be an Imga either since they are too simple minded. You'd have to cap how high they could get their skills.

Maybe they are related to the Altmer

no no maybe your not entirely getting what Im saying, the Sload were freaking DROWNED you know since they released a plague on Tamriel?, not to mention the gameplay aspects that arent in/not confirmed in Skyrim? levitation, on will teleportation. going back on what others said exactly what will you do as a sload? mind you I commend on wanting more races, awesome but such is unappreciated by the mass and wont make it in.

Imga yeah of course what was I thinking, hell I couldnt have thought of that silly me, a race of small populated primates that mimic Altmer and live exclusively in Valenwood would appear in Skyrim out of the blue even though by lore they are pretty rare if non existent outside silly me.
edit: and no...they aren't related to the altmer, if your going to Dip in lore for more races atleast get it right.

yeah Keyword Dead and or Missing, they aren't exactly a thriving civilization and last I checked they lived in ruins in Argonia and im kinda hazy but i remeber they got their asses handed to them by the plague as well

They're not. They are the great apes of Valenwood. While they are capable of mimicking things, even practicing swordplay, they are more simple than the other playable beast races.

Id honestly see Goblins being playable before Sload or Imga. I personally always wanted to be a Boar riding Riekling.

I know that they aren't related to the Altmer, I was taking the piss because of their description by Xarnac as being simple minded something I think the Altmer are (bloody arrogant pig headed, think that everyone is beneath them dikes)..... sorry don't know what came over me.

It was sarcasm!

there are only the standard 10 races

more to go against this is that the Sload can barely move , using levitation, teleportation or living in water to keep from crushing themselves under their own weight

Lilmothiit are extinct

Imga would be cool to see, but will not be in the game and are pasically sentient gorillas

What I find amazing about this forum is that people jump up and down screaming 'dumbing down' when things get removed and then when something is suggested to actually increase variation and gameplay people still don't like it.

How Bethesda are supposed to make the right decisions is beyond me when the people on this forum seem to go from one end to the other

Adding races that makes sense is fine, but Sloads or Imgas dont.

Ok the Ka'Po'Tun are a viable race. Similar to the Khajiit although maybe not related. 2 cat races would be good considering there are 3 elven races, 3 human races and the Bretons that are half and half.

Like I said, Akavir races would get attacked on sight, nobody likes them, nor would they want to come to Skyrim/Tamriel.

You were given reasonable reasons (lol) as to why those three races won't work  I hardly call that complaints, there are more races then what you are familiar with..use your imagination and no one can dispute it, shoot infenal city has some weird bugeyed Monkey creature..

I understand that the races in Tamriel may not like the Akaviri races..... but the Orcs were an enemy race feared and treated similar to the goblins in early Elder Scroll games. Why could 200 years not change enough to make the Ka'Po'Tun, not liked or trusted but tollerated.

So nothing ever changes, things must remain the same for the rest of time.

Good so long as I know that on Nirn time stands still.
