Sloads anyone?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 7:04 pm

Well me personally, I would love to see the odd Sload inhabitant hiding in a cave somewhere, maybe even allowing you to do his bidding,
Hell imagine an ending were you help the Sload race infest the province and take over the whole of Skyrim!!! :DDD
(Well, I think I may have gone a bit overboard...)

Maybe when they do TES VI/VII/VIII/IX in Summerset Isle we could have a sload in, but in SKYRIM? Of all places? No thanks.

I'd like to see them, but I don't want them playable...

i vote no, i havent seen any lore to support their being in skyrim, though i suppose it could be possible because of the sload in Vvardenfel (the one from TES:III, whats his name?)

Although no lore with them being there, I voted yes. But this is for future games. I would seriously LOVE to play as a sload though.

Sloads are part of the reason I was hoping TESV would be in Summerset Isle. But since it's in Skyrim, no; keep the Sloads far away, where they belong.

That would be a negative. IMO not a time or place to introduce those things.

I would seriously LOVE to play as a sload though.

Imagine the stealth challenges? Hell, how would you run from guards? :P

Correct me if I'm wrong, which I probably am,
but didn't they attempt to take over, in the War of the Uvichil from 1E 2911 to 1E 2917?

I think you mean N'Gasta, from Redguard.

Anywho, on to the topic.
NO! Tamriel hate the Sloads and their Thrassian Plague, that is why Tiber Septim and the All Flags Army sunk Thras in 1E2200. I think any guard or warrior would kill a Sload on sight in Tamriel, and Skyrim is too cold a climate for them. Yes, I think the SLoads are quite happy living their lives on what remains of Thras. Ugly things, too.

There's a Dwemer, maybe that's what you're thinking of. But definitely no Sload.

Anyway.. I vote yes. Because Sloads are cool.

I'd much rather see the concept of Sloads applied to dragons in this game.

Nope, maybe you're thinking of Yagrum Bagarn?

 Maybe. But there were none in Morrowind during the time the game was set, and I certainly see no reason for them to end up as far North as Skyrim for this game.

im very positive there was one too... but anyways the Islands of Thras, south west of Tamriel's bottom coast, is at the opposite side of Skyrim and its very unlikely we'd find them there

I don't really blame you
he fits the description of a Sload, and if you've seen the concept art, he sort of looks like one too.

It would probably be boring to play as one, since they're supposed to be so incredibly slow on land and all. I would love to see a couple of Sload NPC's though, they seem pretty interesting.

If they have an expansion pack on a southern isle then I guess, there are a lot of variables that we just haven't been told of yet

I don't see how an expansion in the South West would really fit in to a Skyrim game... At all.

For the locationally confused, here's a http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y134/Trevor0/Tamriel1.jpg. Note Thras in the West, and Skyrim in the North.
