Slodes in Skyrim...possibly?

Post » Thu Sep 29, 2011 8:29 am

Please no slug people. If there is one thing I'm afraid of, its slugs. I can deal with seeing them drawn, or in redguard with its crappy graphics but bringing them in Skyrim? *shudders*

Doubtful. The last sload we saw was in Redguard.

Maybe so, but no one I think was actually expecting to see Falmer and we have them so...............

I'm sure there won't be any.

They're pretty much the hated enemies of all Tamriel. They're extremely rare and seclusive. They have no significant presence on the continent or in its current affairs. As they seem to be commorant to the tropical maritime regions, Skyrim's the last place I'd expect to see one, and I wouldn't expect to see them pretty much anywhere.

There was N'gasta in Redguard, but that was like... five, six hundred years ago now?
Oh wow, I almost said "And that's so long ago that there were still dragons back then". Then I remembered that dragons are back, lol. Massive slip of mind...

Anyways.
I'm pretty certain they won't be in Skyrim.

To the poster above me: There was actually a LOT of speculation about whether or not we'd see Falmer, and most people were sure that at the very least we'd find Falmer ruins or study them. Their ACTUAL appearance is a bit of a surprise, but not totally unforeseen.

I'd love to see a sload necromancer in a tower in the middle of nowhere who gives you quests, teaches you a spell or two, gives you an artifact, maybe tries to obetray you. It'd be awesome.

It was their actual apperance I was refering too. I myself was speculating about the possibility of Falmer ruins and finding Falmer artifacts before they were confirmed. I am really happy they are in the game and now for a bit more speculation.

I think in TES VI Falmer may even become a playable race. In Arena Orcs were not a playable race as they were an enemy race like goblins, similar to how the Flamer are this time round. Still this is speculation for another time.......

Aw, you edited out the thingy i was going to make fun of you about. But no seirously, the one sload in Redguard is enough. Infact that is the entire reason no one bought Redguard. Bethesda nearly went bankrupt before we were certian that "sload soap" would be the closest we got to one in morrowind (We had to be sure to test everything, as bethesda is sneaky..
