SLOW DOWN!

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 9:07 am

I know what you mean enclave radio, but I think that everyone is entitled to write their own Fanfic.
There are rules though. just one fanfic at time, and one rp at a time, but everybody seems to be keeping on those rules.

I know that there are too much rp's/fanfics, but the ones that are too much will be filtered away anyway, because there won't be replied on them.

So in my opinion: as long as someone is serious about it, they should write. As long as it's conform the rules of this forum.

So, what, we have a lot of Rp's and fanfics. BTW, their was already a thread like this, that got locked, and there is a rule that lets you only have one RP and Fanfic going on at the same time. Now i've got stuff to do.

Yeah, I've been gone... For, what is it, a week? Two? And I found my story on Page 3, it was on 4 a bit before that too! I think it's on page 4 now... AGH! But, if anyone's interested, I have a burning need to write, but it has NOTHING to do with my story... Thus, RP, and since I can't join any...

People will forever and always come to this section and create something new, no matter what people say, no matter what people complain about, it's what this section was made for. The best thing to do is not create a useless thread telling people not to write, the best thing is just to ignore it and concentrate on your preferred Rp and/or fan fic.

Since we can't seperate RP and Fan Fix then we are all going to need to learn to share this crowded forum in peace an harmony.
.
I have an idea: actually I have two ideas. If you like it then do it.
.
There are a couple of topics that are collections of related stories that anyone may post appropriate stories on.
We should have more of these. They will save space, get attention to new writers and make searching for stories that are to personal tastes easier.
Subjects should be based of they types of characters the stories are about:
Mercenaries
Super Mutants
Ghouls
Enclave
Brotherhood of Steel
Regulators
Swamp Folk
Wanderers
Clowns and their Trained Bear Sidekicks
.
my other idea is simpler:
If its a thread that needs special attention or your just not feeling the love, put a Icon next to it. Its easy and it attracts to eyes faster than titles and authors.
.
Im not the only one who has had these ideas, obviously, I just have the idea that they might help resolve this.

I don't care anymore, sure, there can be as many fan fics as you guys want, but please, let the moderators have a little more ease in the process of eliminating dead RP's.

El diablo is dead

Local obsessions was almost dead

And a few others I forgot about.

Then we live in harmony.

I think people should stop trying to police the forums and let the Moderators do their job. If they think there is a problem, they will address it. If they think it is fine, they won't. If you think there is a problem, to bad. Take it up with a mod via PM.

You have no rights, play nice.

There hasn't been much of a change in how things go in this forum since it's inception. Fallout fanfics and RPs have always been fast and short, in comparison to TES stories and fanfics, that are slow and long. Generally speaking of course. It's just how things have always been, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

As long as you slowly progress the story, allowing everyone to post at least once, before moving on it should be fine.

I don't want to burst anyones bubble, but there are WAY too many Fan-fics and RP's going on. I mean, for every day I take a glimpse away from my Vault 118 thread, seven new Fan-fics and RP's pop-up.

We should keep the ones (mostly intact) in continuation and leave the others in "hold" mode until the others finish.

Operation Dragons Reach

Vault 118

Local Obsessions ( I don't know if Unknownrandomghoul is even ready to restart or not)

Defenders of the wastes

Letters from the mall

America's last hope

The origin of Demons

Let these stay and keep the others on hold until we finish. I don't want to sound like a jerk, but if we bottleneck the forum like this, the closest thing to an RP will be seven year olds duking it out about which of thier characters will win in a fight with tesla cannons in vault 101.

Please, we already have enough problems with the lore and fan-fics ( Thanks to MZ)

I find this reasonable, I have seen to many forums succumb to this.

But what about my new blog? Something "new" and in an extremly easy form to read and enjoy. I can understand rp threads, but i welcome any fan-fics. Good for people to express how the fallout world is in their eyes. Though I tend to just stick with my blog and Vault 118. I really love reading the posts.

BTW, link in sig for my blog "Life in the Wastes." Just started with a new update posted a few minutes ago.
