I don't want to burst anyones bubble, but there are WAY too many Fan-fics and RP's going on. I mean, for every day I take a glimpse away from my Vault 118 thread, seven new Fan-fics and RP's pop-up.



We should keep the ones (mostly intact) in continuation and leave the others in "hold" mode until the others finish.

Let these stay and keep the others on hold until we finish. I don't want to sound like a jerk, but if we bottleneck the forum like this, the closest thing to an RP will be seven year olds duking it out about which of thier characters will win in a fight with tesla cannons in vault 101.

Well my fan fic has been around for quite some time.
Just a little slow on the updates :shrug:

No problem, I plan on just playing on the 3/5 Rp's i'm on.

It's getting pretty hectic, the only one i'm playing as a fully active character though is in Vault 118.

So, until they die off, I don't plan on signing into another RP.

I'll update that right away.

I made New Palino.. What makes me mad is the people involved are always on but never even reply. What's up with that? I also brought Local Obsessions back up but I dunno if anyone will even bother with it anymore.

You should take a look at the TES Fan fic sometime... They can have over 10 RPs/fan fictions going at once.

But some of the rules on here seem to have been... bent a little. Like RPs... A creator of one RP can only maintain that RP until it is laid off or shut. Only then can they start another one. So unfortunately, if the rules are to be followed anunknownghoul would have to choose between New Palino and Local Obsessions. Although unless it's reported I'm sure both could continue =P

Either way, you have to think of the people that haven't been able to get in RPs. What can they do? Just wait at the sidelines, watching and waiting for an RP to finish? That could be seen as unfair =/

The reason they're both up is because nobody's replied to Local Obsessions in ages. It's considered failed.

your just talking about RPs right? I only have one fanfic going and I am really enjoying writing it. I would hate to have to put it on hold. :blink:

We DO have a massive amount of RPs going on at once. I lost track then forgot about Local Obsessions, though now I'll probably try and post there again. I signed up for another simply because I had the time.
But yeeeaaaah...bit of an overload here. You can't restrict people's RP and Fan Fic ideas, though.

I can see wanting a slowdown in RPs going on (especially if you're in more than one), but a slowdown in stories people are posting? That seems rather rude to me. Those of us who don't want to RP (or tried to join one that just kinda died.. feh) still have a right to be creative and write our own stories. It's not like things here are constantly getting shoved off the first page. You shouldn't make people afraid or feel bad to post their own creative works.

RPs and Fan-fics have been coming fast for a while now, I don't really see the problem. It's not like any of the other RPs are forcing you to stop your current Rp or anything. And just asking people to stop making Rps/ Fan-Fics until you guys are done with yours is just absurd.

My Fan Fic has been around for a while and this is the fan fic section, so people are going to keep writing fan fics and new Rp's no matter what anyone says.

Of coarse you can keep yours, the opinion of one person shouldn't matter, as long as you getting positive feedback and genuinely want to write a fan fic, you should keep writing. This doesn't only include goris, if you want to write and fan fic and your serious about it then do so.

Enclave, you got to let the people do what they want to. If some people cant keep track of rps there in, thats there fault. I always check at least three pages deep if I cant find Vault 118 for some reason.

Its a free forum. If there are to many things going on, then the Mods will step in.

Yeah, plus, if you stop writing your story I'll have to hire Talon Company or something..

There will be no limitation on the number or content of either RPs or FFs as long as they comply to forum rules and as long as each member only maintains one of each. Discussion of FFs and taking part in an RP is up to individual members, there is no rule that says you have to comment on a fan fiction nor take part in a role play. If you are not able to keep up with the number you have joined then perhaps you should step out of some and just partake in the ones you can cope with.



Exactly, and I do read everything in here and intervene if necessary.

I really hope I still get to keep my RP's, because there are people who still want to do them and I have been maintaining them properly(so far), I honestly don't see why there'd be a problem with me having both.
