Slower H2O w/ timescale

Post » Mon Aug 09, 2010 10:47 pm

I like to play with my timescale set to 2. Problem is, on hardcoe mode, h20 and food don't scale down. I have a bunch of tweaks set as a .bat file that i run every time I launch the game and I was wondering if anyone knew the console commands for tweaking the h20 and food speed. I need to slow them down so they match game-time.

You won't be able to do this in the console. The console can only control some Global Variables, but usually not the ones that are assigned to items.

I will move this to the Mods section as you need a mod to do what you want, and maybe someone already has one made. You may even have to make your own.

Gotchya! Thanks for the move - hopefully someone out there plays like I do and can whip up a quick one (:

I've got two, Imp's More Complex Needs is a total hunger/thirst/sleep overhaul that lets you adjust timescale, and Imp's TimeScale Adjuster lets you keep hardcoe mode as it is but adjust your timescale (also offers a dynamic timescale option). Arwen's Tweaks has a timescale adjuster and also rebalances the hardcoe mode rates, and there's Woodbyte's Dynamic Timescale mods, which are similar to Imp's TimeScale Adjuster, but modular rather than menu based.

Wow that looks awesome! I think, though, that might be above and beyond what I want. I just want h2o and food to slow down.

EDIT***

Imp's TimeScale Adjuster does the trick! Thanks a bunch (:
