small problemThe OBSE LauncherHTFV.7 Help?

Post » Wed Jun 05, 2013 1:47 pm

I use it in both XP and Win7 hard drives, same comp. Recently the install, in Windows 7, is putting up a full screen at the same time as Win7 kicks in after logging in. It is not serious, just a little irritating having to zap it off, and I'd like to find out why it is doing this. It is a useful program and does it's job very well, so I don't particularly want to uninstall it.

I don't know if there's any connection between that I recently started to use Wrye Bash and The Launcher's behavior, just thought I'd mention it.

Has anyone got any idea's, please?

Thank you, Eranyl

I'm sorry. What is HTF/V.7? And, whatever it is, is it the "install" that is "putting up a full screen at the same time as Win7 kicks in?"

I am not sure really what you are saying is happening and what program(?) you are referring to.

The Mod is called The OBSE Launcher, the maker of the mod goes by the name of HTF, the version of the mod is v,7. This mod acts as a launcher for Oblivion as it is also incorporated with OBSE. This mod normally does nothing until you want Oblivion to start up. The mod also has a number of useful functions.

What it does not normally do is start up by its self. Particularly just as Windows 7 has started up.

I do hope that is clear enough now. So, have you any ideas to contribute of why this should be happening?

Thank you, Eranyl

Check your Start Up directory to see if something's in there that shouldn't be.
