A small question...

Post » Sun Sep 20, 2009 2:35 pm

Well, I have a question for the people here. I made a custom "warrior" class. Obviously I just started the game and he is only level three. Recently I was attacked by a dark brotherhood assassin and sent to ebonheart to speak to a guy. He told me that I can get me on the mainland, this sounds to me like it begins the expansion Tribunal (Ive only read the back, other than that i'm playing blind here.) My only concern is, does my low level guy have a chance in this expansion? Or will I head to the main land and get my rear-ed politely handed to me?

You can always go and visit the city. But I would advice leveling a bit (level 10-15) before attempting any serious questing in the Tribunal expansion. The content was created with high level characters in mind.

Yea I would hold out on the expansions. You could go and visit the city but don't go in the sewers. I would wait until level 10-15 for Tribunal and over 20 for Bloodmoon.

Learned this the hard way, at level 25 or so, as an all-powerful Archmagister of House Telvanni: avoid him! Pretend he doesn't exist!

I was just going to come say this. :P And I'd also advise against helping out anybody who's having trouble with a play.

Don't do quests, but just chilling out in Mournhold is okay for a low-level character. Pretty much all of the quests are too advanced, though, so I'd stay away from them. Bloodmoon is even more challenging, there you could get your ass handed to you just for walking a few feet away from the dock you arrive on. :P

Use common sense. Join guilds. Do low level quests. Level up as you complete these quests.

Play the main storylines in this order:

Morrowind. Tribunal. Bloodmoon. Do not begin any until you've beaten the previous. You should be ready to play Tribunal if you beat Morrowind, and Bloodmoon if you beat Tribunal, etc.

When in doubt save often and carry scrolls to escape (Intervention.)
